We ordered our Thanksgiving turkey from Heartstone Farm last year and again this year. We will continue this as our holiday tradition because the quality and flavor was outstanding!

Everything arrived in excellent condition and frozen solid. The meat ordered is excellent quality. Most importantly for me I know that the animals are treated humanely. This is of upmost importance in my book.

The pasture-raised Turkey was tender and juicy. We stuffed it with fresh oranges, lemons, onion, garlic, sage and rosemary, salt and pepper. Then topped the skin with a softened butter cap. I was a huge hit. Thank you Monica M.

Absolutely delicious! I seared this in a pan after 48 Hours of dry brining and then finished it off in the oven. It was the best steak I have ever had. The steak was tender and juicy on the inside, but crisped up very nicely on the outside. It was not overly fatty and filling. I would definitely purchase this again.

The Heartstone farm chicken leg quarters were delicious! I made them with stuffing which was laid under the chicken leg quarters and baked in the oven. They were tender and moist with delicious flavor. I will definitely get them again.

Yummy recommendation meats

I grew up on a grass-fed beef farm in Pennsylvania and ate beef such as what is sold by Heartstone Farm. I was thrilled to discover this quality of beef in New England. It is hard to find beef that is grass fed and grass finished. Many so-called grass fed cows are actually finished on grain, which reduces the meat health benefits. As a medical doctor I am well aware that the quality of the meat is what makes beef good or bad for you. Grass fed is definitely good for you; corn-fed not so much. I have ordered several times and now have a monthly subscription. The meat is of excellent quality and is much better for your health than conventional factory-farm beef. It is shipped quickly and always arrives well frozen. The rib eye steaks are excellent as are all the other cuts. I even buy heart, kidney, and liver to grind up to share with my dog who is in perfect health. I cannot recommend this farm and their beef highly enough.

I received my first order from Heartstone Farm and ordered a Ribeye steak, The meat was really tasty, the steak thick and had some good marbling. I ordered 10 cuts of meat altogether and everything I have eaten has been quality and I will continue to receive a monthly supply from this wonderful farm!

One delicious turkey. It's my experience that organic chicken tastes better, which is what led us to try an organic turkey. It was a busy day in the kitchen, as Thanksgiving always is, and no one had time to reflect on the turkey's origin. But today, making stock and sandwiches with the leftovers, we realized how good it was. Will absolutely order again. My one complaint is that the giblets were missing. Only the neck was included. I made a gravy from the neck and some frozen chicken giblets I had on hand. But I would have preferred more turkey in my turkey gravy.

I had my first flat iron steak from Heartstone recently. It's one of my favorite cuts of beef. It was delicious and tender. I ordered two of them and can't wait to eat the second one. I've had nothing but good experiences buying beef from Heartstone, and the flavor of all the beef I've tried reflects the way the cattle are raised, and the meat aged. Definitely recommend the flat iron steak.

If you want a wow factor at your family or friends meal this tomahawk is a perfect way to go. It came with directions which was good since I had never made one before. The wide eyes and smiles around the table was rewarding. The meat was tender and juicy. I served ours with roasted vegetables and corn on the cob.
