Heartstone Farms filet mignon are quite tasty and tender. I have had better but these are a close second. I have to say I was a little surprised at the shape of the steaks. Others I’ve had are like a fairly round slice, cut crosswise. One of these the grain ran lengthwise. For want of a better word or description it looked like the end of the loin.

5 Stars! (I don't have a cellphone, so can't take a picture.) I was hoping for bacon in the sampler, and there it was, BACON! The ground beef is excellent. I was saving all else for special occasions, but have changed my mind/can't wait to try the steaks next. Wonderful choices in the sampler. It's a comfort to have this supply in my freezer. I shall return!

Mixed the ground pork with ground hamburger from heartstone farm..made a great tasting meatloaf! Love their products!

We have not eaten our Filets yet but we did cook our strip steaks, because it was very mild we cooked them on the grill.They cooked up well and tasted awesome, we are certainly enjoying our meat box!

We had the lobster tails as well as the chicken great combo highly recommend at least giving this place try. I have tried two others this is the best one because I can change what comes in my next order and not be stuck with the same meats over and over again

Chicken thighs cooked perfectly in my air fryer, hardly any grease in the bottom of the fryer. Chicken was the best we have had in long time. Will definitely purchase again.

I usually like to make my own patties but an injury made me realize sometimes it's good to have them pre-made. It's a big bonus having them pre-made sometimes for a busy man like myself. These burgers are VERY TASTY, relatively lean but still with enough fat to make them juicy.

I ordered an 11-pound, Bone-In Ham from Heartstone Farm and it was incredible. Everyone that ate from it loved how succulent and tasty it was, especially the smokiness of the ham. I've ordered many items from Heartstone in the past but this was my first Christmas ham and I would definitely do it again. I highly recommend everyone to check out this farm; not only are their products top-notch, their delivery system is amazing as well. I live in Pennsylvania and Heartstone Farm is in Maine, which is easily a 9-hour drive; yet their products are always delivered on-time and still completely 100% frozen!

I have recently received my first monthly meat box order from Heartstone farm. I am very happy with the meat cut and quality! For health reasons I choose to eat a carnivore diet (meat and other animal products), which means that the meat needs to be of high quality and to keep me interested, very flavorful. Heartstone farm has checked both boxes! I cook all of the meat in a cast iron pan with butter and season with a little Real Salt. The stew meat is cooked slow in a covered cast iron pan and is delicious! It's literally all I eat for that meal and I love it. I'm so glad to have Heartstone farm as my meat supplier!

Everything I have bought from Farmer Dan has been so flavorful and this whole roasted rosemary chicken with spicy honey glaze is incredible. Made many meals and bone broth from the one chicken. My dog was treated to some as well and she never seemed happier :-)

These are some of the best strip steaks I have eaten. There are lots of farms out there trying to sell grass fed meats, but these steaks are some of the best I have tasted! Highly recommend.

Delicious and easy to cook in an Instapot!

Lovely and flavorful heritage type turkey. It was an excellent reminder of what quality meat tastes like compared to grocery store purchases. For a particularly frugal person the price per pound is a bit higher than desirable. Given it was not "injected" with fats/softening agents (a good thing) the breast meat was a bit dry for our taste. The higher natural fat dark meat was outstanding. [We did cook according to the instructions and principles sent with the turkey and used a meat thermometer so no issue with that- perhaps I could have taken it out a little sooner.]

Breakfast sausage is to die for. It is packed with flavor and cooks up nicely. It will be the only sausage we buy. Great for casseroles with Mac and cheese!!!

This was surprisingly the first prime rib roast I have smoked and it’s gonna be hard to ever top this beautiful cut. I smoked this 5.3lbs roast for 4.5hrs on the Traeger and it was soo juicy and tender. This will be a new Christmas tradition for us. Can’t thank Farmer Dan enough!

Loved this! Gave it as a Christmas gift but it arrived early, beautifully and sustainably packed as you can see in the photos. Meat looks delish (the t-bones are huge!) and the Christmas cow bell was a lovely touch and a great surprise

The Prime Rib Roast was absolutely DELICIOUS!! Especially liked that it was boneless so it was really easy to carve.

The chuck roast was the first piece of meat we ate from our box. I made a slow cooker roast and it was the BEST!! Incredibly lean so I didn’t have to pick off gobs of fat like I had from store-bought roasts. The flavor was delicious! So excited to have more meat from Heartstone!!

Excellent, juicy, tender, and tasty. My wife and I were vegan--me for 20 years, her for 10--but we've returned to eating meat through a winding road. Heartstone Farm has been a life saver for quality meat at an accessible price.

I got the marrow bones as a wecome home present for Sam, my friend's rescue puppy. His new Mom is a doctor, so only the best will do. To me that means 100% grass-fed and pasture raised. Sam loves them!

Another very tasty cut from Heartstone Farm. This is in my weekly menu rotation.

I used the Chicken Leg quarters to make homemade soup. The Chicken soup was delicious! The Chicken and ground beef taste much better than store bought.

The two steaks that we ate already were not good.

First off, from the time I placed my order to the time I received it was about 24 hours. Awesome. Secondly everything I ordered was in the box, neatly packed and frozen solid. Awesome again. I appreciate the little welcome card and the tips for cooking, marinating, etc. now for the sirloin tip steak. Just awesome. I turned it into steak tips. The meat browned up nicely in my cast iron skillet. The tips were juicy, tender and very flavorful. What more could you ask for?!it’s been fun trying out different cuts of meat and playing around with different cooking methods and marinades. I can’t recommend Heartstone enough.

We have ordered from Heart stone farms twice and the burgers are amazing. When you cook them they keep their shape and size. They are bigger then the buns I purchase. And have so much flavor.

Superior to any other breakfast sausage I have found in 70 years. Good blend of spices (could be stronger) and size is just right. Cooked them in my air-fryer and they were wonderful.

I’m not normally a chicken thighs person, but I added them to my last box and broke in my new smoker from Christmas by cooking go these bad boys. Juicy and delicious, I may have become a chicken thighs gal that night. And to know that the chickens were well cared for makes a huge difference.

Everything is excellent so far

I ordered my first selection of meats from hearthstone which included the strip steak. The meat was delicious and tender. However the shipping process is a disappointment. My order was delivered a week after ordering. It was missing 2 items the stew and one steak. After calling they sent new order number with missing items but still waiting for delivery almost another week later. I think I am going to look at other grass fed delivery farms to compare.

Love, love, love these sirloin tip steaks! They cook up beautifully and taste fabulous. They have been my Friday night go-to meal for the last 6 months. :-)

Our 2nd order of Porterhouse steaks from Farmer Dan - because the first were SO good! When you want to treat yourself, these bone-in beauties are the best. Love the quality, the service, and the fact we're supporting local, independent farming.

BEWARE. Most steaks listed per pound. Sirloin only 10 ounces. Upon arrival only .62 or 9.92 ounces, not even 10 Ounces as advertised. I imagine selling these steaks per pound would be upwards of $23.00 pound (my rough calculations). Advertising slick/tricky, IMO.

I always get the chicken thighs in my subscription box each month. The thighs have great flavor when either baked or grilled. The package of four is just the right size for a dinner for two.

My family and I love the sweet Italian sausage. We have used it in pasta and on pizza. My kids are picky eaters and they eat it.

I could eat this everyday! Tastes even better the next day heated up in the skillet with butter. Great with eggs too. A must try!

We just had the shaved beef. I flashed it in a hot pan with sm amt olive oil and served on a crusty roll with fresh sautéed green peppers and onion- the best and leanest we have ever eaten !

My daughter in Maine bought us a gift box from Farmer Dan for Christmas. Most of the beef was shredded or ground, along with some hot dogs and boneless chicken. We had the shredded meat and steaks tonight. The taste was good but we found too many parts of each cut inedible (essentially grissel, which was impossible to break down with our human teeth). I would not recommend to her buying this package again. I know she had the best of intentions and she always supports local businesses in Maine.
