I had been looking for a company I could purchase from that was affordable and reliable with good products- as I tend to send gifts online quite a bit for business. This is definitely not it. First of all, the price ($29.95 +11shipping) for a cookie is bad enough but I paid it thinking it would be worth the price. Honestly, anywhere you go online it will cost this or more. Let's just say next time I will buy my own cookie from a bakery and ship it myself, that's how bad this was. The cookie arrived on time yes, but in horrible condition. Looked like it had been kicked from one side of the state to another along the way. I can't say that it's all 1800 bakery fault, it could have been UPS. BUT the cookie just wasn't up to par either. The writing on it was terrible, and the balloons drawn looked like someone just didn't care at all. Sloppy. It looked cheap and it was small. The cookie itself tasted ok, but I will never order from here again. One and done. However tacky this may sound, the recipient actually contacted me to tell me terrible this gift was. hahaha. THAT was rather embarrassing.

I ordered the dog cookie bouquet for my daughter's birthday. She is away at college. I ordered it over a weekend and had a little trouble with the payment page. Someone contacted me Monday morning & went over the order with me to ensure it was correct. It was delivered on time and was beautiful. The glaze on the shortbread cookie is straight up powdered sugar and water. Either the shortbread needs more salt, or the glaze needs lemon zest to cut the over-the-top sweetness.

I live in New Jersey and wanted to surprise my niece in California with something for her birthday the whole family could share. I landed on the idea of sending a birthday cake. Turns out, her husband and children forgot it was her birthday, and she was sick with a cold. The cake arrived on time, in great condition, with forks, plates, candles, pretty much everything needed for an impromptu birthday party. They only had to add singing. Was a big hit and this business gets my highest recommendation. Might order one for myself!

Sugarfree is hard to find-- at least if you want to "fool" people who have no need to know every little detail of everyone's current health. This chocolate cake was unbelievably good, and tasted as good as anything I've ever had. Would recommend without a second thought!

I ordered this cake for my brother's 60th birthday. It was really fantastic! He sent me a picture and I couldn't believe the cake arrived in one piece and looked like it just came from a bakery. He said it tasted really good, almost a death by chocolate. I would order again from this site.

The petits fours were delicious. I took a long time deciding which ones to order and when I ordered them, they were in stock. However, I received an email after stating that they were out of stock and a replacement was sent, but not of the same flavors. While the replacements were good too, I didn't care for all of the flavors (and neither did my guests). Would've preferred something closer to what I ordered. Delicious nonetheless and would definitely recommend them and order from them again!

Hi Gary, Thanks for your comment. This is the first we are hearing that your gift did not get delivered. We do have shipper release on packages so something like this does not happen but for some reason your package was shipping with signing needed. This was a mistake. I first ordered from 1-800 Bakery when my daughter went off to college, 3 states away, and had to spend the first week their celebrating her birthday. I ordered what was then the "Birthday in a Box" and she was able to share it with her new roommates and had a blast. Those college days are done, but this past week I ordered the Happy Birthday Petit Fours for my elderly mom who is in a nursing home 350 miles from us. Mind you, this is on Lake Superior in northern Wisconsin, 75 miles from any major city, and the treat arrived on time and she loved it! Thanks for your great products and most awesome service!
