I live in italy and surprising a relative of mine was so important. I continually checked the process of delivery,and when finally was there,the ups driver left it at the front door. I think a phone call to the one receiving the surprise would b much better. Thank you so much anyway. Greetings from Rome...

A signature was required, so I had to tell the recipient ahead of time to expect it. The note that I wrote was not included or anywhere to be found. Consequently, if I hadn't told them to expect something due to the required signature, they would have never known who sent it! Pretty ridiculous.

The cake arrived the date I had ordered it to be delivered. It was very well packaged to prevent damage in transit, yet was very easy for me to open. The cake was beautifully decorated and tasted luscious! Chocolate and rich, yet not heavy. Was very moist and flavorful in every bite! Would definitely recommend this bakery and cake to anyone looking for an all in all great dessert shopping experience! Delicious cake, great service!

I ordered a cake to be sent to a friend for her birthday, and it had to be shipped to where she was staying for only a few days - due to weather delays, the shipping was postponed, but 1-800-Bakery was kind enough to reroute the cake to my friend's next stop on her journey, and it arrived there on time. Diane called me and kept me informed of the delay and checked with UPS, staying in touch with me. I rate this CS as superior. The cake was a surprise to my friend who shared it with the family she was visiting, and they all enjoyed it tremendously

The web site was easy to use. I was able to send a birthday cake to someone in another state with absolutely no difficulty, although I was concerned about it's arrival on the birthday date and its condition on arrival. My fears were groundless. I've heard from the recipient that it came in perfect condition on the perfect day and that the cake was declared the absolute best!
