Ambient Weather WS-2902-WC Replacement Wind Cups, WS-1900, WS-2000 and WS-2902 Wireless Weather Station
The device works well except for the wind direction and strength.
The wind direction is inaccurate because we have the station mounted in a spot of shelter.
The wind speed has been a problem when high winds occurred and blew the wind cups off the instrument and were lost.

Rain gauge bowl needs a lip for spikes to sit on

Ambient Weather WS-5000-RAINSPIKE Bird Spike Kit for WS-5000 Rain Gauge
When my rain gauge spike ring fell off my weather station, I accidentally mowed over it. This replacement arrived quickly, has additional spare parts which is nice, and after one failed attempt I was able to get it in place. I wish the rain gauge bowl had a lip so that the ring of bird spikes could sit supported on it and not need to be so critically tight.

Ambient Weather WS-5000-ARRAY Replacement Ultrasonic Anemometer, Outdoor Thermometer / Hygrometer, Solar Radiation and UV for
The replacement Array was well packaged and arrived in good condition. I did have problems in getting the Array and the control council to communicate with each other. It would be nice if you would include instructions for the with the replacement. I wound up calling tech support. They did have me up and running in minutes. Thanks for that.

Ambient Weather WS-2902-ARRAY Replacement Sensor Array, WS-1900, WS-2000, WS-2902 and WS-2902A Wireless Weather Station
This is the second Ambient weather station I have owned. The first lasted from 2018 until 2024 and would have lasted longer if I hadn't installed it so high. Initially I was able to perform routine maintenence until my wife wouldn't let me climb on a ladder 25 feet. (Batteries died) This new station is mounted on a 4x4 8 foot post which is easi;ly serviceable. Why do I want a weather station? Florida weather changes rapidly and we live in rural Florida. There are two parameters I want alerts from. Wind and rain. I have easily set mulitple paramenters to receive smartphone alerts when the set parameters are exceeded. I wouldn't be without it.

Ambient Weather WS-2902-ARRAY Replacement Sensor Array, WS-1900, WS-2000, WS-2902 and WS-2902A Wireless Weather Station
My weather station sensor array started giving bogus reading after 20 years, so I ordered the replacement. I was concerned about how tricky it would be to get it connected to my base station. I don’t know how, but they found each other on the interwebs and we're good to go. Easy peasey.
