Packaging is great, arrives in great condition. Very detailed instructions.

I really like the consistency and accuracy of this unit and thought since it had no moving parts it would last longer. However, my original failed after about two years of service. I purchased another main sensor as I still think the concept is good and hopeful that I will get better performance.

I love everythng about this weather station except for one thing. Let's start with the positives: the accuracy is phenomenal, and it is a pleasure to be able to check the weather out when we are away, as we have two residences, which leads me to the one negative: there is a frequent, and I do mean frequent, interruption of the updating of reporting data, sometimes for weeks on end. At this review, one report has been unreachable for 23 days and another for a full month. I called customer service and they were very helpful but the problem persists. The agent I spoke to informed me that the problem is likely a result of the device needing to connect to a 2.4 GHz router. The devices are located very close to our 5 GHz routers; the 2.4 devices are our extenders. In both houses, the devices worked fine without any reporting issues for months before this issue cropped up, so I suspect the actual answer lies elsewhere. Overall, I would buy it again but if a software update to allowing the devices to connnect to a 5 GHz router is feasible I would have no objections.

The temperature section of my WS-2000 array failed and a replacement component did not correct the problem - System was almost 5 years old. Therefore the question was to replace or upgrade. Upgrade was chosen and the WS-5000 received quickly and installed. It has been up and running for a month or so now providing much faster and accurate information. Since the readout unit is the same for both units, only the WS-5000 and a Rain Sensor were ordered reducing the cost to get my WX Station back up. I recommend this upgrade as a solution to a failed WS-2000 head unit.

Perfect match

Works as it should.
No different than the original

Works great. Just hated that Hurricane Beryl blew off the original one. Guess I did not get it tightened down enough.

Just what I needed to replace the broken wind vane after a massive wind event sent tree parts flying into the weather station

This is my second probe purchased for monitoring the internal temperature of my refrigerator. Because these probes have a transmitter located outside of the refrigerator it works very well for monitoring the internal temperature. I have placed the probe under a bag of water located in a bowl inside of the refrigerator. This buffers the temperature changes and makes this reflective of the actual temperature of the food inside of the fridge.

So far so good! Works as advertised. Station isn't in a super ideal placement of the yard for super accurate readings (afternoon tree shaded) but it's what I have available at the moment. Glad to be able to check rain remotely! Thanks

great product

The complete WS-5000 system I ordered arrived in a timely manner. When I went to set everything up in my office to test its operability, only one device of the three in the set (rain gage WH40E) would connect to the control panel. The weather station transmitter (WS-5000) and the indoor temp/humidity transmitter (WH32B) did not connect to the control panel. I attempted to contact technical support twice using the email address supplied in the received manual. I received reply for the first email that it was being looked into and I waited for a week before submitting a new support email. I received another response that they were looking into the issue and would get back to me. Another week went by without any contact or response and I finally called the tech support phone number and talked with a person who helped me resolve the issue. This is the second Ambient Weather station that I have purchased in the past five years. I like the products but I would expect a complete system to work right out of the box instead of me needing to reestablish the connection with the station tablet. I give this product a review of four stars but it could have been five if there were no issues from the beginning.

This is a fun addition to my weather station, unfortunately it doesn’t record all of the nearby strikes. Yesterday we had a flash of lightning very close to us but the detector didn’t record it.

Lost first one to a hurricane, had the replace it. Was surprised at the price and it was not a pleasant surprise. Easily about twice the price it should be.

I haven't had the WS 2000 very long however it totally beats the previous weather station from another company hands down. Set up was a breeze.

It works

I am no pointing in the right direction. Thanks. 5 star

I purchased this WH32M Temperature & Humidity Sensor for my WS-2801A Weather Stations to replace the original which gave me many years of excellent service before spending a winter buried under snow and ice and giving up the ghost. The new one works just as well as the old one. I am very pleased with it.

My 2902 v1 display was badly outdated in its ability to pair with a modern access point, so had to buy a newer version. It paired easily with my IoT network and sensors.
