Ambient Weather WS-5000-RAIN-COIL Replacement Coil Filter for WS-2000, WS-2902 and WS-5000 Weather Stations
I love this weather station I wish I had bought the upgraded one with the lightning protection, but it’s working fine. Have very little problems just needed the screen for some reason. It just disappeared from the rain sensor. Lol.

Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
I’ve had instruments that cost 2-3 times as much…this one is better. I’ve had it for 2 months now. Very happy with it.

Ambient Weather WS-2902 Home Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
I bought this as a replacement for one that quit after five years. I really like that it was relatively easy to install, and now I can view MY weather on my phone (that I never quite got working on my old unit).

Ambient Weather WS-2000-CONSOLE Console Only, Compatible with WS-2000, WS-1900, WS-2902 Series
I had a problem with my console. The weather station was a gift and the person who gave it to me did not register it nor kept the paperwork. When I called the tech services, they diagnosed the issue and sent me another one along with a return label for the broken one. They charged me only for the shipping. They could easily have denied the replacement because it was not registered with them. But they didn't. Many kudos to tech services.

Ambient Weather WS-7078-ARRAY Replacement Array for WS-7078, WS-7079 and WS-8480 Weather Stations
This one is working good. The last one did too for a little more than a year. The temperature sensor stopped working. I’m hoping this one will last longer.

Ambient Weather WS-2902-ARRAY Replacement Sensor Array, WS-1900, WS-2000, WS-2902 and WS-2902A Wireless Weather Station
This is our 2nd one. First one lasted 6 years without an issue, which is fantastic given the weather it’s subjected to. Highly recommended.

Interesting data; needs tuning

Ambient Weather WH31L Lightning Detector for Models WS-2000, WS-5000
Works well but needs it's signal gain tuned. Needed to lower the signal gain to "low" to keep from having hundreds of false data.

Ambient Weather WS-2902-WC Replacement Wind Cups, WS-1900, WS-2000 and WS-2902 Wireless Weather Station
These work but an improved design would be having these pinned instead of a pressure fit tightened by a screw. Our original one took off with tropical force winds.

I was having quite a bit of trouble trying to connect my old 2902 c to the internet. After calling with my issues, I went with the newer model.
I am so happy now. Connecting has never been easier.

I bought an additional weatherstation to have one in the bathroom so I can see the weather before selecting clothes. Integrated right into the system.

Ambient Weather WS-2902-RAINSPIKE Bird Spike Kit for WS-1550-IP, WS-1900, WS-2000, WS-2902 and WS-2902A Rain Gauge
I wish I knew this was available when I originally purchased my weather station. The birds made my rain gauge unreliable so I'm looking forward to adding this.

Ambient Weather WS-2902-WC-ASSEMBLY Replacement Wind Speed Assembly, WS-1900, WS-2000, WS-2902, WS-2902A
After a very windy spring and brutal summer heat, the anemometer stopped reporting speed. Tech support was very responsive and helpful solving the issue. Part was easy to order, quick delivery and simple to install. Thank you.

Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
A friend had recently purchased an Ambient Weather model WS-2902D. Reading the manual, it appeared that you could transfer data to a computer using a USB cable. This feature was interesting to me since I have wanted to connect weather instruments to a Raspberry Pi to collect data. I bought the model WS-5000 because the specs indicated longer sensor rf range. I was disappointed to find that the WS-5000 does not support USB communication. It's puzzling that Ambient Weather omitted this feature in a more expensive product. Other than that, the weather station works well.

Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
Generally, the setup was simple and the instructions were sufficient. That said, there are minor discrepancies and gaps that I found a bit confusing. One example is the rain cup part which shipped without the funnel attached, but there were no directions for how to install the funnel. Another example is the instructions for mounting the rain thing and other main sensor thing to the mounting thing... There are no instructions regarding how to orient the two in relation to one another or if they are being mounted to the same thing. I'm sure there are reasons, but I found it confusing! The console also is a bit dated for a not cheap piece of kit, buttons are confusing and non consistently used for the same thing, like ENTER...
Obviously the frustrations stand out after just having set it up, but I am very excited have it up and running and it seems like it will be great.
