My weather station toppled over and snapped off one wind cup.
Ordering and receiving a new wind cup part from Ambient Weather was really easy!
The Ambient Weather folks are great to work with when you need help.
It left me feeling they really want me to get the most out of my weather station.

It was the perfect replacement for my failed array on my WS-7079. The anemometer’s bearing had failed during a very high wind storm. I know they don’t make this array anymore and I’m worried what to do when this one fails. The original lasted 4 years…no complaint.

As a Certified Consulting Meteorologist, I can honestly say that this device out-performs and "out-datas" some of its most expensive rivals, including the Davis Vantage Vue. I have EVERY possible gadget that goes with it (lightning detector, soil moisture sensor, and 8 temp/humidity sensors inside and outside of my house and I am now able to better control my heating and A/C bills!!! Also, the app for Android and all of the other features, including personalisation setups... you just can't beat this unit. Short of having an AWOS or ASOS (Automated Weather/Surface Observation System) setup like they have at the airports (which actually provide meteorologists with data from remote places), WE NEED MORE PEOPLE hooked up to the internet feeding us data for more accurate forecasts. SO EASY!!! You just have to enter your wifi password, and voila, you're transmitting data on Ambient, WeatherUnderground, PWS (with certain exceptions -- the WS-2000 requires a special Ethernet hub, available at Ambient for use with PWS internet)... the possibilities are endless!!! Try to mount 20 - 30 feet above ground for optimal accuracy; a 1.25" 6' wooden dowel from Lowes or Home Depot and some clamps to mount it on a deck is all it takes. I recommend this unit to ALL of my friends!!! ENJOY!!!

I'm very pleased with the thermal sensor for my weather system and how quickly it was delivered. The protection apparatus is a bit cumbersome, but it looks like it will work. I still have not installed that part.

Received the weather station & extra monitor in a timely fashion. To my USA address, I'm moving to Corozal, Belize. This is where I will be setting the system up. So I will have to update review in a couple months.

Great, spot on device!

The first one out of the box was ready to use, the second one had some red marks on it, where the white are is(filter?). Even if I calibrated it, it always drops very randomly and slow compared to the first one. Bear in mind both are in pots with same type of soil. Wish I could get a replacement for that.

It does what it was designed to do.

I am still not getting the correct outdoor temp or humidity!

Exactly what i needed.

Thank you

Very good performance at a very good price. I have no complaints and would recommend to others.

Very easy to set up. However, I was left wondering how accurate it is. I set it up next to the main sensor, and it took about a half hour to read a temperature similar to the original sensor (WH32B) that came with the Falcon WS-8478

This is a clear choice for a Wx station. I had the WS2002 and it worked very well. It was on the top of my flag pole and when one section slid down that was the end as the rain gauge broke off. The WS2000 excels with the display and the ease tp connect to the Internet. They are both very good stations but for the more information on the WS2000 and all the sensors that can connect it is the winner.

The system was easy to install and operate. Love all the details on the display monitor.

I bought one of the bird spikes, and found that the assembly process was a bit more ‘unforgiving’ than I had expected. That said, Ambient did include 2 of the parts that I needed a 2nd one of after I mishandled the first (it is a metal “wire tie”)

The Replacement Wind Vane worked great to restore my weather station back to full potential after a BAD hail storm in N. Colorado.
Thanks for having parts available to keep a GREAT Weather Station working.

Product arrived quickly. Removing the old broken and installing wind cups was simple.

working great, five star on customer service too!

I bought this for my husband, he loves it!
