I have two units purchased a year apart and they have honestly been perfect monitoring both locations. I play to get a 3rd for my business for tge staff to know current weather and out clients

I needed a way to keep birds from landing on and then clogging my rain cup. This was easy to assemble, as long as I didn’t follow the provided instructions, which were not easy to follow. So far I’m very happy with the results.

It was so easy to replace my 6 year old senator in which the thermometer had gone out and the replacement thermometer was not available. The installation was easy and smooth and instructions easy to follow. I wish it were a bit easier to make it level but that depends on the support pipe. I hope this one will last just as long if not longer.

Replace my WS2902A display. The new display is a great improvement.

WH31E, so far unit has been very reliable. Do recommend this sensor.

Everything works great

Exactly what I needed! Great Customer Service!!

This is a high-quality instrument and a great value—the unit was well-packed, easy to assemble, and worked as advertised immediately after being brought online. Based on the results up to now, I am 100% satisfied with my choice.

I was referred to Ambient by a friend months ago, and after months of thinking about it I finally made the purchase. I am very happy with the value. I would highly suggest being careful not to install over a roof or near brick that absorbs and radiates heat. I ended up mounting mine about 10 feet above the fenceline and it seems to be accurate compared with others in the area. We’ll see how it weathers but so far I am happy with this purchase!

Very easy to assemble and set up!

Misplaced the AC adapter for the base station on my faithful unit - can’t connect to the internet without it. Called Ambient Weather and was able to order a quick replacement. Works perfectly; I’m back online :)

As the title said, all I did was put in batteries change the frequency and hung it in the basement. It appeared on my app dashboard immediately.

Hardware was easy to install and set up. Works great with convenient app for monitoring remotely.

Outstanding Product.

Good Unit, installed easily, but a few annoyances: No WU icon when feeding to WUnderground. Signal strength very inconsistent between Wind/Temp sensor and Rain Guage despite being mounted next to each other on same pole. No battery backup on tablet/console. Cannot rearrange tiles on ambientweather.net.

Was able to quickly connect to my existing station and definitely has a better connection to my wifi over original monitor.

The weather bridge worked fine and up and running.

Great unit for the price. It does everything it says it will do and then some

I’ve had a couple of temperature and humidity stations from another popular brand but, on the first one, the readings from the display and the remote sensor never agreed and there was no way to fix that. I decided to “upgrade” in the same brand (four readings – one in the display and three remotes). That one started to produce bad readings on one channel, no matter which sensor I assigned to that channel. Time for eWaste.

Where I live (in a narrow river valley) the winds are too fickle to record accurate direction and velocity, and I really don’t need a rain gauge. Functionally, the WS-3000 meets my requirements, but also gives me much more information in those areas and graphs it for the previous 24 hours.

I only need four stations: Outside, main house, garage, and attic. With the previous brand was used to the display being the main house sensor, but that doesn’t always make sense. Now I can collect the house data at a central location, but read it at a location where I have other devices.

Why four stars instead of five?
-- I would like a larger display unit. First for readability but, more importantly, to have a large enough case to house some standby/backup batteries. (I’d trade up.)
-- It could use a few more sensor label options. I think a lot of people would like one for their garage (which often are not heated or cooled) – Probably more likely for most people than “Cigar”. (I labeled my garage sensor “Spa”.
