Ambient Weather WH31SM Soil Moisture Sensor for WS-2000, WS-5000 Weather Stations
I installed soil moisture sensors in both the front and back yards to verify the irrigation system was coming on when it was supposed to and providing the required amount of water. These will be worth their weight in gold to provide early warning of the system not working as intended so I can take care of any issues before plants are impacted.

Ambient Weather WS-2902 Home Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
The station works well. But, I've tried time and time again to connect the station to the internet via WIFI and it stalls everytime. Using a MAC.
Nice as a stand alone station, except that the monitor can only be viewed from certain angle range.

Ambient Weather WS-2902C Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts
I purchased the Ambient Weather Station WS-2902 back in 2020 and it would never connect to PWS or to Weather Underground. It only worked with the local Control/Console Panel and the PWS on my iPhone.
It was suggested by Ambient Weather Tech Support that I purchase the Ambient Weather ObserverIP 2.0 so I did and even with several hours of working with their Tech Support it never connected.
I took a chance and upgraded recently to the Ambient Weather WS-2902C Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts. It only started working while using the Ambient Weather ObserverIP 2.0 and again after several hours with their Tech Support that I was finally able to connect and share data with PWS and Weather Underground.

Ambient Weather WS-5000-RAINSPIKE Bird Spike Kit for WS-5000 Rain Gauge
The instructions say to pull the metal wire tie thru about an inch, then slip it about the rain collector. When I pull it through about an inch, it would not fit around the collector. Good thing that included 3 wires with the kit. Good luck

Ambient Weather Network Weather Window
I like the concept of the Weather Window. My WS-2000 base station had to be relocated to a non-optimal spot to pick up the outdoor sensor signals. The window can be placed where I prefer it since it only needs WiFi. It was easy to set up and configure on the web site. I like how flexible it is for displaying what I want and in the order I prefer the widgets. I took one star off, however, for two reasons. It's 2024 and this thing was built with WiFi 4. Should have been at least WiFi 5 which would give it even better signal quality. It also shows some values that do not reflect my local weather data. I could understand a slow update, but it will sometimes show temperatures that never happened during the entire day, for example. Is it blending data from other stations sometimes??

I wish the console would show more information like the wind gusts and accumulative rain fall. The system we had before showed all the information on the console at the same time.

This is a replacement for the one that I purchased 4 years ago. The last one took a beating and could have been repaired if parts were available.

Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
Received my weather station to replace one, who has seen better weather. I like the units and display. My only comments are that the instructions were a little vague and it was a slight learning curve getting the station operational. Other than that, I am happy with the station.
