Ambient Weather WS-8480-ARRAY Replacement Array for WS-8480 Weather Station
previous sensor array lasted five years - in Arizona - which is great considering the climate here. It's gone as low as 4 degrees, has high as 117 and been in direct sunlight for the entire time - that has to be great equipment.

Ambient Weather WS-2902-FUNNEL Replacement Rain Gauge Funnel, WS-1550-IP, WS-1900, WS-2000, WS-2902 and WS-2902A Wireless Wea
Very quick and friendly service….lost part of my station in Hurricane Ian (140 mph winds) and lost my rain gauge bucket. Ambient quickly replaced the missing part at a very reasonable price.

I am mostly very pleased. The physical set up is well-documented and easy to complete. The console screen is bright and easy to read and The initial set-up of the date/units etc is also easy.
The button placement will take some getting used to as I'm right handed and have inadvertently pressed buttons several times when picking the console up.
Although I might have missed something in the instructions (both printed and on-line) I was not able to find the mac address without a call to Ambient. All of the instructions seem to apply to other/older models where the mac address is actually printed on the console.
Lastly, and perhaps I will find my current assumption to be wrong, it seems the temperature reading updates only (roughly) twice a minute and the wind speed/direction perhaps even less frequently. Particularly for the wind, I'm disappointed that there is not an option for displaying near instantaneous speed/direction data.

Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
This is a nice weather station but I can only give it a 4 star rating, Unlike my older WS-2000 the monitor is hard to read. the numbers and letters for most of the screen are unreadable at more the 5 feet away. I have 20/20 vision and am used to reading the monitor at about 7-8 ft. Not the new monitor! What happened Ambient Weather? Lucky for me I can read the monitor information on my iPhone. The WiFi link works perfectly. Good job there AW.

It's been 2 weeks and the barometer hasn't self calibrated. Other than that, I'm pleased with the weather stations performance.

I lost this funnel during hurricane Ian. The rest of this system stayed connected to my dock. Now I'm back in business.

Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
Very complete, easy to understand and assemble. Previously had a nice Davis system, but the color display on the Ambient blows away the monochrome version of the Davis. More add on sensors available too if you want to expand capabilities. For 6 years, I liked the Davis system alot, but I love this Ambient weather station.
