It took awhile to program the console I had to read the instructions several times before it was programmed as I wanted it

Great for keeping large birds away but the spacing between the spikes allows more than adequate room for Bluebrids to hop between. Thinking about getting a second one to align between the the spikes on the first one.

Ambient has a great product and great service.

Working great

All works great. Just wish it worked with a 5ghz router.

Set and forget, they work well in many areas

Once installed, the WS-5000 works beautifully. It does everything I wanted. 5 stars earned there. However, installation & instructions earn 2 stars. I am tech savvy & handy with tools. Issues: 1. Inserting mount into both sensor array & bracket was challenging. I had to shave a millimeter off both ends of the curved mount & redrill the holes to make it fit. 2. Lack of waterproof mount box for camera. I bought one over the Internet for $8 whereas yours sold for 3x that much. It should have been included anyway as almost every application will need the mount & customers don't know that until they start to mount the camera. 3. The tablet can't connect to a dual-band wifi router. This is just plain stupid. I understand if it needs the 2.4 band for better range but it shouldn't refuse to isolate that signal from the 5 ghz band. Fortunately, I knew how to create a separate 2.4 Ghz guest network on my router & that fixed the problem. Many customers wouldn't be able to do that. 4. FTP instructions for connecting webcam to Ambient were poor. 5. Instructions talk about connecting webcam to Weather Underground. WU stopped hosting webcams over a year ago. I wasted time until i figured this out.

The WS5000 is a simply amazing personal weather station. It's easy to assemble and get operational in little time. They owe my sale to their customer service department who emailed a response to all my questions...wait for it...after only 20 minutes. This is a classy company from the quality product to the folks who work for Ambient Weather.

What a great setup for the price. I am very happy with my purchase.

Very good weather station beats my old accurate hands down

Works perfectly. I like the information on the app, it’s more expanded.

I purchased the rain gauge replacement, because the one on the unit which is about four years old had stopped working. It would it works perfectly now, and I am very happy.

Great system! Just follow directions and find north.

Works fine, but the instructions were a bit confusing. And, the extra temp sensor works, but I was looking for a module to put in the house to see the settings, like the old weather station I had (LaCrosse). I'm still figuring out the various websites and how to read MY station on my cell. Most confusing...Not everyone wastes their time trying to learn EVERYTHING on the computer. Some of us actually WORK for a living, not like some nerd.

It appears that it is a nice appliance, however it is not possible to tell if it is working as there are no indicator lights or any kind of feedback.

Would be a 5-star except the lighting dector does not work. Waiting for replacement.Setting up the dashboard for more than 1 device has been a challenge.

Very solid construction and delivers great information. I would have given 5 stars but the "forecast" feature based on barometer readings is not accurate at all.

Perfect replacement and shipped quickly.

Great service. Great parts. Reasonable prices. Web pages could be made a little easier to use and have a bit more information.

Easy replacement for the one I had that was damaged by Tropical Storm Kay.
