Good product! ……..Fair price!

Works great. Long wire on it. I use it to monitor the temperature of my hot tub in winter.

Great products and great support.

The WH31L was easy to install on the mount. We haven't had any storms yet so no notifications.

worked perfectly.

Have had this for about a month and like it responds to wind speed changes.
Very nice.

I bought this device to put a long-standing ambient weather 1080 unit offset online without running the computer 24/7 which I had been.. It set up was fairly straightforward. I have since changed over to a Davis Vintage View Pro with data logger and will be uploading my data through the weather bridge with the new system.. It was mentioned in the order form that the earlier USB 1.0 would need a converter to USB 2.0 when I bought it, and for that I would need a USB converter which was purchased as a separate item, but the device ships with the USB converter already in the box. So that was a waste of $17 for something that was already included with the weather bridge but not mentioned in the purchase order catalog. It works fine and happy with it thus far seems be fairly reliable. It did not transmit the dew point and it messes up the average wind speed values to a single line in that it does not not separate average wind speed and peak gust speeds when transmitting to ambient weather.net. Other than that, it's okay. I hope my new Vantage View Pro will give a better indication of wind speed and delineate between average wind speed and peak gust speeds which the device does not do at this point. The WebCam uploads the very well with the Ambient weather.net that is a nice feature. Overall I'm very satisfied with the weather bridge in ambient weather.net.

This is my third weather station, I have purchased through Ambient weather. I was very excited when I received the unit. After receiving it I found that I would need to purchase the heater unit separately which I ordered. Unfortunately the wrong item was sent to me but that was quickly taken care of by ambient support. After receiving the heater unit, I am packaged my new weather station and started the assembly process. When I went to assemble the sonic wind sensor unit to the mounting arm. I observed the wires to the heating unit exposed, the wires were bear going into the unit, thereby making the heating element inoperable. I emailed ambient support A photo of the bare wires along with a copy of the packing list, I also called and left a message explaining the problem. The next day I received an email authorizing the return of the item, at that point I was requested to pay for the return. I called wanting to know why I had to pay and was told it was a mistake, shortly thereafter I received an email with the paperwork to send the unit back. I was told that a new unit would not be sent until they received the old one, I was not happy with this. I repackaged the defective unit and dropped it off at UPS. I was told it would take approximately one week business days (seven) for the unit to return. After returning home I emailed ambient support requesting that a new unit be sent, attached to the email was a copy of the UPS tracking slip showing that I had sent it back. I emphasized to them that it appeared I was being penalized because I was sent a defective piece of equipment that I would now have to wait 2 to 3 weeks to receive the replacement unit and requested that a replacement unit be sent. The following was their answer. "We would have to wait until that unit returned to us at our warehouse." I do not believe this is the way to do business, I am confident that the weather station will meet five stars, but the customer service is lucky to get two stars for me. This is not a reflection of the person that handled this matter, but a reflection of their policies for not taking care of a customer that had just spent under $500 to their company. Not a happy customer.

I am quite impressed with how accurate this system is. With other stations and traditional anemometers I have always felt the wind was under-reported. With this system it not only seems more accurate but verifies with a local official weather station. I love how expandable this system is. The only thing I would want different is a small change to the mount for this station. Allowing a little extra room so the rain gauge could sit on the top of the pole with the mount for the main station just below it. If you try with the current design it would cause the rain gauge to be out of level. Ultimately a small consideration because having the ability to place the rain gauge away from the rest of the system is ultimately better in many installations. Great job Ambient Weather!!

Setup went very well. Replaced a competitor's system that no longer worked online and after a week I am VERY pleased with the WS-2902C and seeing my weather real-time online again. Bought direct from AW website and all the communication and helpful links were a plus.

The replacement was exactly the same model as the original. Setup with the display was easy.

It took almost a month for the station and new display to finally sync, but now working. I had tried everything I could think of, let it sit, then it started working yesterday without any more attempts at it.

Just love this weather station - exceeded all expectations. Great looking display with wonderful viewing angle and well laid out values. Robust external sensor array. Bought 4 external RH/temp units for garage etc and they work well - put them all in a foil bag with internal sensor and the external sensor array and left them for an hour and all the temperatures were the same within ±0.1C and all the RHs the same within ±2%, so very pleased with the calibration.

So many features and data - its a dream. Ability to give sensors custom names, ability to read all the data on the Ambient app on the phone, look at historical values etc etc.

Only minor points are console unit feels a bit lightweight and would have preferred a heavier duty feel to it and the internal sensor only displays in °F (although on console displays in °C)

Simple to set up and run. It provides lots of information. I won't know final opinion until I see how it lasts.

Great instructions for setting up. Only challenge was Weather Underground setup on their end and nothing to do with Ambient

So far so good. We purchased based on a neighbor’s recommendation. Set up was pretty easy and we were up and running quickly.

Actually is working better than before

Great service from Ambient. Love their products.

Works well

Easy to assemble and does the job
