Ambient Weather WH31SM Soil Moisture Sensor for WS-2000, WS-5000 Weather Stations
A simple and inexpensive way to monitor soil moisture in your gardens. I am currently using four of these sensors for over a year and all are doing great. The LED in end is a little bright at night, so I just put a piece of black electrical tape over it to better hide it in the garden. Highly recommended.

Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
Easy to install with no moving parts. After a month of fairly calm winds we had a wind storm with 60 MPH gusts. The anemometer did a great job of showing the gust speeds on the well designed display. All the extra sensor data such as soil moisture and extra temperature sensors are easily accessed on the display and Ambient web site.
