Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
First - the positives: I love the accuracy of the station as well as the distance the weather console inside of the house can "talk" with the outdoor unit, which is on our barn, which is some 50 feet from the house.
There are a couple of issues that I've had with the setup - the first are the instructions on putting everything together. I've found the instructions a little confusing with the diagrams not quite matching what I was seeing when putting everything together.
The second thing is a recommendation for future models. A battery backup that can still run the station if there's a power outage. I was a little surprised that the inside console only runs on AC power with no way to still operate if there's a power outage. For me, that's a negative because I still want to see what my station is showing, even during a power outage - especially if it's from weather such as thunderstorms, wind storms or hurricanes.

Ambient Weather WS-2902 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
So far so good. It went together easily, and I was able to set it up easily. The only hitch was that I had to turnoff my 5GHz wireless to be able to set it up. Once I was done I could turn it back on.

This is my fifth WH31 sensor. I use them to monitor the temperature of various rooms in the house, driving a localized display on the wall of that room. In this case I was building a greenhouse and wanted to make sure the temperature didn't get too high. The range on these sensors is very good; I have a challenging house for radio signals but have never had an issue with the WH31 sensors!

This is an excellent weather station. The small display takes up little space and provides lots of information without changing screens with data that is clear and easy to read.

Ambient Weather WS-2902 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
Only had the unit for a short time (2 weeks as of this writing) but so far it is working great. It was easy to assemble and site, and no issues getting it running and connected. Only reason I didn't go with a "5" is the software. I had really expected the AWNET app to mirror the weather station. After all it can connect with no problem so can clearly communicate. And the Ambient Weather app could very easily be upgraded to connect directly to my station rather then just to Ambient Weather's map. Plus a minor detail but still fairly obvious: the rain and other widgets on a desktop browser pointed to Ambient Weather give the ability to "expand" but this same isn't apparent on the same page rendered on a portable device (tablet or phone).
But the unit itself- so far so good!

A meaningful upgrade vs. a WS2000 ... new sensor cluster a solid improvement.
