Ambient Weather WH31P Water Proof Probe Temperature Sensor for WS-0265, WS-1550-IP, WS-2000, WS-2902, WS-3000, WS-5000 and Ob
I really like this temperature sensor with wired probe for several reasons. First, the range is excellent, the temperature very accurate, the long probe lead allows a variety of placements for the sensor and the battery life is good. [Hint: I use an empty parmesan cheese container to protect them from the weather - works great]. Second, the customer service is also excellent. I recently purchased a new one, and after a day or so, it died. After a few back and forth emails and some photos, I received a replacement, which is working great. Thanks John in customer service. Lastly, my WS-5000 is just great.

Ambient Weather WS-2801A Advanced Wireless Color Forecast Station with Temperature, Humidity and Barometer
Works as advertised, easy to read, and scroll mode is great for multiple sensors. As they say, sensor range depends on what walls are between the sensor and display.

Ambient Weather WH31P Water Proof Probe Temperature Sensor for WS-0265, WS-1550-IP, WS-2000, WS-2902, WS-3000, WS-5000 and Ob
I found the sending unit to send very well and is quite accurate, within a couple tenths of a degree from 2 thermometers that I own. I wish the probe had a longer lead and the sending unit is not waterproof, only the probe. I bought this to monitor temps in a garage that is not heated 24/7. I got around the sender not being waterproof by mounting in a plastic container with a snapon lid. Works well. I'm located on a 350 ft hill(ridge) in NE Kentucky where storms get pretty rough. Only metal roofs here. It was put up same day it was delivered and it has worked perfectly since.

Ambient Weather WS-2902 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
This unit was purchased as a gift. It was chosen because I purchased the identical unit last year and it has performed flawlessly. The only improvement would be in the instructions to connect the unit for remote reporting via the internet. Once it was connected it has performed as advertised. There are several options which are big pluses like graphs and charts option to review the past 24 hour operation. Well worth the money if you are looking for a quality unit.
