Very pleased with the part it solved my battery discharge problem.
Great customer service, quick delivery.

Works great!!

Easy to swap out the old one.

Easy set up-nice that I don’t need to go outside to check rain gauge to see how much rain we received!!!!

The console dosplay is very directional and generally hard to read from even 6’ away.

Plugged it in and works great.

The weather station was straight forward on setting up and it works good. The new wind sensor with no moving parts seems to be as accurate as the old style.

Fixed the buzzing with the old adapter

I bought a WH31P for my Koi pond . They are not supposed to be fed once the water temperature drops below 39 and start feeding again when water temperature goes above 39. I also installed a WH31E in my woodworking shop to observe the temperature so as to protect my equipment and paints and finishes from being damaged by low and freezing temperatures .

Brilliant and necessary

I really appreciate that these user-replaceable parts are available at a reasonable cost. Our weather station takes a beating, as we regularly experience sustained high winds and salty air near the ocean. I'd much rather replace parts from time-to-time instead of having to replace the whole expensive weather station.

My console developed an intermittent fault - the display would die completely or just show partial segments of letters and numbers. Really frustrating. Nothing wrong with the outside weather station, Internet/WiFi or power supply. Troubleshooting with Ambient Weather (and as with most electronics these days) the suggestion was to replace. So I now have a new console and everything is back as it should be. Surprising when it’s not working how much you miss it!

Our rain gauge stopped working. After working with tech support and being emailed step by step instructions on how to reset it, we has to order the replacement Thermohygro assembly. Shipping was very quick and the installation took less than five minutes. We are very satisfied with the tech support and the ease of the installation.

Ambient weather system has given me peace of mind when cold temperatures hit. Our boat is never winterized so having two monitors in the Salon, one in the Bilge, and one on the deck lets me see the actual, very accurate temperature readings 24 hours a day with weather forecasts along with past, present, and future trends

The remote sensor worked great.

This is a gift so the recipient will have to provide a review.
Your products did get good inputs/reviews when I did an AI comparison of various weather system models

This is a product I won't use until next summer because we have no thunderstorms in the Northern Plains during the winter. However, I am certain this unit will work as flawlessly as my WS-5000.

So far it looks very good

I've had the WS-2000 system in place for about 4 years now - it works great. Nice to have the additional functionality of sensors that include water leak detection and temperature monitoring for living space as well as refrigerator/freezers. The leak detector allows me satisfaction knowing I can react to a problem if that were to occur. All the sensors set up with no issues other than familiarizing yourself with the monitor to make the process smoother!

I recently decided to bite the bullet and replace my old 1200 with outdoor sensor replaced one time.

The design of the WS-8480A is very similar to the old 1200 in shape and function albeit with a nicer display panel. I like that I can align the solar panel to the South. Best in Fall/Winter. It took a bit to understand the how to get connected to the wi-fi (I use a MAC studio connected to an Amplifi Alien Router).

Since it is the panel I am now connecting to versus the IPObserver this requires making sure I connect to an older level 2 wi-fi vs. newer level 5,6 or 7. Fortunately my router allows this capability. Once figured out the next issue was with accessing the admin panel. Turns out you must be connected to your level 2 wi-fi specifically for the panel (a button on the back is pressed for about 6 seconds to place the panel in admin mode) since it is a very common admin access sequence. Done. The rest was pretty simple.

The reason for the 4 stars? After verifying in the set up for Weather Underground I entered the correct GPS coordinates for my home. Buuttt, when reviewing on WU, my location is shown well West 100 yards +\-) of my actual location. Go through the whole admin login, check, re-check, iPhone, Garmin GPS, 4 different resources all confirmed my input. Still no joy when checking WU. The location however is correct on Ambient Weather! Your ball court Ambient? Or is it WU who is the culprit? But the information was entered on the Ambient setup application. I would like to have this corrected.

Overall, I think I will be happy with my latest purchase. But wondering if perhaps I should have gone with a WS-2000?🤔
