Very cool weather station. Accurate and fun to check on my phone even when not home. I always know the weather at my house.

Works great - use to monitor earth temperature in greenhouse.

I am still waiting to install the heater because of our cold snowy weather. However, I am confident it will work fine, a belief based upon the great performance of the WS-5000 itself.

Glad to finally get one of the Ambient Weather Stations! I now have it set up and works great! I've recently shared my station with a couple family members! It's very nice to quickly see what the immediate weather is where I live!

I bought this to replace an Ambient Weather WS-5000-ARRAY Replacement Ultrasonic Anemometer, Outdoor Thermometer / Hygrometer, Solar Radiation and UV head that went bad after a few years of use.

I hope this one lasts longer

I needed to replace one of my sensors, this was perfect.

Staff was awesome in helping solve the problem I was having with my until.i tried their fix and when that didn't work they suggested a new array assemble. When it arrived the instruction were easy to follow and the sync up was easy. Very happy with the results and very happy with Ambient Weather thanks again job well done and a happy customer.

Black Friday pricing got my attention and when I read about the anemometer I said I’m buying myself a Christmas present!
Unit was very easy to install and setting up the display was actually fun. As much information available as you would want and then some. For some reason it did take a lot of tries over three days for my display and Wi-Fi to connect.
My only complaint would be the size of the display. With all the info on the screen it would have been nice if it were larger.

We reluctantly ordered the funnel as a replacement for the original that had a broken tab. We tried to fix the tab with glue, but that didn't work, so we ordered a new one. It works fine, but at $20, it's overpriced. At least shipping was included.

Easy setup, love the app.

Less Filling

Great weather station giving a lot of up to the minute info on temperatures, humidity, rainfall, wind speed, solar radiation and pressures. The indoor display is clear and connection with the app gives you all the info wherever you are. The team in Arizona were very helpful resolving a shipping issue and answering questions.

I do not use all of the system’s capabilities, but those I do access I rely upon and find very helpful. Looking back and to find high level data is quite easy using the phone / tablet app to retrieve and present the data. I am not a technical expert, but found the vast majority of the set up instructions quite helpful. I recently needed to order a replacement sensor array for my WA 5000 system (original array was beginning to fail transmitting), finding the online order process easy and efficient. I love the system and highly recommend it for home weather enthusiasts…

great!

The Anemometer stuck on South in 2.5 years of use. Replacement somewhat pricey but I still enjoy the accuracy of the WS5000.

This weather station is just what I wanted. It works great and was easy to set up.

Used this to monitor the temperature under the water rock. It works great.

The WS-5000 seems to be working great so far! We have been using it for a little over a month. The design is robust and the functionality is impressive. The only complaint I have is that the setup instructions leave something to be desired. While adequate in most regards, some of the descriptions and figures were not particularly helpful. For example, when recently setting up the optional spike kit for the rain funnel, the kit included 10 plastic pieces that hold the spikes, but nowhere in the instructions did it mention only 8 are needed to encircle the full circumference of the funnel. Also, the instructions were curiously silent on how many plastic pieces to loop on the 1st metal zip tie before inserting the 2nd metal zip tie. This made for a lot of needless trial and error, which was frustrating. Additionally, the instructions mentioned a procedure to bend the spikes at a 45 degree angle to provide better coverage over the funnel. However, neglected to mention that the procedure would have to be performed twice per spike in opposite directions so as to produce spikes that look as pictured in the instructions (I mean, at that point why not just ship the spikes pre-bent??) The folks at Ambient Weather would do well to review their instructions for clarity -- first impressions last forever, and lazy instructions can certainly hinder a positive customer experience right off the bat.

I really thought my control panel was completely fried but so grateful it was only this part. It’s wonderful to know that. These little AC adapters are structured so as to save the important components from power surges

I purchased the product 5 years ago, very satisfied!
Now I have purchased another one for another area
