My second WS-2902 lasted 7 years in the brutally hot Phoenix area climate. We relocated to Prescott AZ about 3 weeks ago. I have purchased and installed my third WS-2902 at our new home. Looking forward to many years of reliable data with the new unit!

I love these weather products and great customer service.

works great

Easy. Fast delivery. No problems. That means, met expectations — No more, No less.

This weather station is working as expected in the mild mediteranean environment in California. Areas with weather extremes may have a different experience.

Soil temperature sensors are very weak and are not really good to use in an outside garden when the weather station is in the house. The range is limited. The range on the sensors could be improved or a repeater could be offered to send a combined signal back to the weather station from the sensors in the garden.

The replacement temperature sensor was easy to replace. The station is working fine.

The poor display blinked off and on till it came and as soon
as it was plugged in it was a happy display and has work great
since. Thanks to your tech dept.

Fast shipping!
Great help
Works great now!

Easy replacement and exact fit.

The sensor array was reasonably priced. And was exactly what I needed. Hopefully it is better than the 2 year old one that quit transmitting outdoor temperature and humidity.

I have a Davis weather station and the 2902 AWS. The AWS is a better value.

After multiple troubleshooting attempts on my weather station, customer service recommended the following:
Replace the entire station and display
Replace the outside unit only
Replace the subject unit
Since the replacement unit was less than $32, I took a chance and purchased a new one.
NOTE: There is no instructions included with this unit. If you are not handy with a screwdriver and small electrical connections, maybe you should buy the entire unit.
In any case, there are only 4 screws holding the unit to the assembly. There is however a small electrical connection that has 4 wires and it is pretty small. It is covered by a small piece of foam and dielectric grease. You must disconnect the old unit. A tweezers or small needle nose pliers may be helpful. Onec this is disconnected the unit is free and you can get busy installing the new unit. Again, the electrical connection is small and it might take a bit of time. Do not remove the grease as it helps with water incursion. Also, place the foam guard on top after you get it connected. This also protects the connection from water. Once that is accomplished, you can replace the screws and the unit is ready to be mounted outside. One final note: Check the unit inside before mounting in the desired outside location. I would have given 5 stars if there had been instructions and the electrical connection being so small.

Once you know to search for "thermohygro" assembly and not for a replacement thermometer part, by calling product support and getting a live helpful person instead of the usual frustrating moronic useless AI support chatbots employed by other vendors, finding and ordering the part is a breeze. The unit comes without installation instructions, but thankfully YouTube has a video of how to disassemble the sensor. Once you find the video, installation is easy. So, it's almost easy to order and almost easy to install, and it worked perfectly.

Unit is easy to install, and arrived promptly. However, the previous one only lasted 15 months. I live near salt water, but that seems rather quick for component failure.

Works great, but needs to be replaced every few years.

I’ve been a weather geek for my whole life and while I’m waiting for parts for the Rainwise station I’ve owned for 30 years, I bought the Ambient 2502 and I’m quite happy with it.

The station has many usable features which help me plan my day. I would have given 5 stars except for the lack of a signal relay for the additional sensors I bought. I was disappointed with the range of the additional sensor. A relay would greatly increase the usable range.

Great weather station! Easy setup.

We now can keep an eye on all our refrigerators from where ever we are.

I can't give ambient weather ANY static over their WK31L Lightning Detector.

It alerts well in advance of any "potential" dangers from lightning.

Nice unit, a must add on for WS-2000 and WS-6000 series weather stations.
