Ambient Weather WH31E Wireless Temperature and Humidity Sensor for WS-0265, WS-1550-IP, WS-2000, WS-2902, WS-3000, WS-5000 an
I recently bought 3 new sensors to add to the two already in service.
They allow me to watch the temperature and humidity throughout my property.
They monitor my shop, master bed room, upstairs, downstairs, and the greenhouse.
Where possible, they are on the wall beside the thermostats.
Simple to set up and unabtrusive.

The unit is amazing. I purchased this to get a better reading on wind. The readout unit with all the various readings are easy to find and read. I also purchased the lightning detector. I am totally satisfied.

Ambient Weather WH31L Lightning Detector for Models WS-2000, WS-5000
The lightning detector has been through several storms and seems to be working accurately. It's very easy to set up. You just put batteries in it and it's paired with the display unit. The cover is also very easy to set up and mount to either a pole or wall.

Ambient Weather WS-2902-ARRAY Replacement Sensor Array, WS-1900, WS-2000, WS-2902 and WS-2902A Wireless Weather Station
So my original sensor array ended up getting the temperature probe and the rain gauge damage during a hail storm. I was looking at possibly just replacing those individual pieces but after doing some research I found that the replacement for the temperature and humidity sensor would be a little challenging. Not that I'm not up for a challenge but time was of the essence. Also once I figured everything out the price wasn't too horrible for all new sensors so that's the direction I went it was easy to connect to the unit in the house and everything was back up and running in no time at all.

Ambient Weather WH31L Lightning Detector for Models WS-2000, WS-5000
I added this to a new WS-5000 system that will gradually replace an aging Acurite 5-in-1 (now Iris) that also has a remote lightning detector. The WH31L started indoors and was as such, but there seemed to be a number of false detections. I expected more than the Acurite, but the number was wildly more. I reset the WH31L back to "outdoor" and the results were in line with what I expected. It is now mounted outdoors in a solar radiation shield. Based on its performance thus far, I expect it will do equally well outside.
Thus far, I'd recommend this sensor to anybody wanting to add lightning detection to their weather station.

Very nice unit. Easy install. Accurate with local weather service. Only negative for me is it would be more convenient to locate if display had battery power like the one I had before…a minor inconvenience.

Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts & Thermo Hygrometer
Just getting into all the nuances of this device. already wanting to add more features, like lightning strike and water leak sensors, but figuring out that I will run out of ports (using five now), and have at least locations that I would need to add water leak detectors. It would be nice if they added an expansion module.
