Ambient Weather WS-4000 Solar Powered UltraSonic Wi-Fi Weather Station
Physically setting up the system was straight forward. Once I was able to navigate the configuration steps, obtaining functionality on the console was completed. Activating the web interface to AWS remains a work in process. Definitely not well documented.

Ambient Weather WS-2902-AC Replacement AC Adapter, WS-2902 Wireless Weather Station
I was having a problem with the base station rebooting and the most common suggestion was a problematic power supply. I this replacement fixed the problem. I have not often had power supply issues in general, I hope this one lasts.

Ambient Weather WS-2902-AC Replacement AC Adapter, WS-2902 Wireless Weather Station
The display station stopped working so I called customer support. He told me it was the AC Adapter that was the problem. I ordered a new one. It fixed the problem.

Ambient Weather WS-2902-AC Replacement AC Adapter, WS-2902 Wireless Weather Station
My WS-5000 display went blank on me. I did the research on the Ambient website and found that the AC adapter may be the cause of the problem. I ordered the replacement adapter. When it arrived I plugged it in. The display works great again. No reason to buy a replacement display. Thank you Ambient for putting information out on your site about this issue. I appreciate it!

Ambient Weather WS-3000 Wireless Thermo-Hygrometer with Logging, Graphing, Alarming, Radio Controlled Clock with Remote Senso
Excellent device. It is monitoring the remote placed freezer with no problem. The display needs to be bigger and the graphics with a higher resolution.

Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
Overall the weather station is great. Very sturdy, and seems accurate when compared to other sources. Assembly is easy if you have a properly sized pole to mount it to. If you have other ideas, I suggest getting one of the mounting kits sold separately by Ambient. The iPhone app, and web interface are okay, but the included display is a little dated for 2025. The resolution is quite low, and interacting with the interface is not very intuitive. Feels like something from 2005. Also, it would be nice if the display had a battery power option.

Replacement Rain Collector is working well

Ambient Weather WS-5000-RAIN Replacement Rain Collector for WS-5000, WS-2000 Weather Stations
The replacement rain collector was easy to assemble and install. The instructions for communicating with the existing base unit were clear and worked well. I am hoping the recommendation for using a Li-ion battery will extend the life for the outside sensor. The rest of the WS-5000 system works flawlessly.

Ambient Weather WH31L Lightning Detector for Models WS-2000, WS-5000
Pretty good sensor. We are adjusting it still for sensitivity. It it’s a lot of fun and neat. Love how it displays on the monitor with the range and frequency. I just with is was a little more specific overall, it seems toget a lot of strike data, it that could be our setting as well. Still working on it! But a ton of fun. 4.5 stars!
