Two WH31SMs deliver wide range of readings. Hmm….

Ambient Weather WH31SM Soil Moisture Sensor for WS-2000, WS-5000 Weather Stations
Calibration appears somewhat futsy. I installed two of the devices in my yard to see how effective my watering is. One device only has a range of 19 to 16%. The other device ranges from 98 to 15%. I believe the wide ranging WH31SM.
My plan is to default the device that I doubt back to factory to determine if that opens the range.
I give it a four star because I wonder if I did something wrong in the calibration. But it seems easy to screw up if it is my fault.

Ambient Weather WS-2801A Advanced Wireless Color Forecast Station with Temperature, Humidity and Barometer
I have only had this for a few weeks, but so far, it is meeting my expectations. The screen is readable in different light conditions. That is an important feature for me. The temperature is accurate. I like the moon phases.
I found the calibration instructions a bit complicated and I am not sure I actually did it correctly. However, the data that I get from this device is accurate compared to other data available to me.
I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I think the instructions should be clearer.

Ambient Weather WS-2902-AC Replacement AC Adapter, WS-2902 Wireless Weather Station
I thought my ambient weather station display was toast. Turned out to be the a/c adaptor went bad. Even though that was the first time I've ever seen an a/c adaptor go bad, I was very happy that this new one fixed me up good as new! Easy 5 stars!

Ambient Weather WS-2902-WC-ASSEMBLY Replacement Wind Speed Assembly, WS-1900, WS-2000, WS-2902, WS-2902A
My anemometer was not moving in low wind conditions. I could hear a slight rumble when it was turning. I tried cleaning the bearing and axle, but made no difference. I ordered a replacement wind speed assembly. Replacement of the old one was a snap. It took me longer to get the ladder out and take the entire sensor set down than replacing the wind sensor. Happy to report its working in low wind conditions again.

Ambient Weather WS-2902-THERMOHYGRO-ASSEMBLY Replacement Thermo-Hygrometer Assembly, WS-1900, WS-2000, WS-2902, WS-2902A
The unit was well packaged and all was intact when I opened the box. The swap was pretty simple. The only difficult part of the process was getting the screws out to remove the old unit. My station had been up and running for 7 plus years, so the screws were pretty well hardened into the module. Once the screws were removed, the connector removal was pretty simple. i could have used a third hand as I did not remove the station from the mount so as to preserve the calibration. Overall this was a pretty simple replacement and everything is running smoothly so far.
