Very easy to navigate and purchase what I needed.

Easy purchase, fast shipping, no issues

I bought a WS-5000 as an upgrade to my WS-2000. It is everything I expected.

EXCEPT it is not working correctly and worse than that I am being left high and dry getting my problem addressed. Once I got through to technical support, Odell was super helpful and patient helping me troubleshoot what was happening. We spent a long period of time on the phone, and once the trouble shooting steps were exhausted, he asked me to send pictures of my station and provided me a case number.

Here is where the problem starts. When I called the next day to verify my email with the pictures and additional symptoms was received, I was told that my problem is being addressed in order with all cases and wouldn’t be looked at for at least a week. For a brand new, fresh out of the box purchase this is unacceptable. If I bought a new car and it broke down, the dealer and manufacturer would fix it immediately.

Ambiant Weather has far and away the best meteorological equipment in this price range. I would expect getting brand new weather stations up and running would be first and foremost in dealing with customers. If I had a case opened for my 5+year old WS-2000, I would understand it would be addressed in order of when the ticket was created.

Brand new equipment should not be handled in the same way.

In reading the Terms and Condition of Sale, it states “ If the item is deemed defective, the replacement will be processed while you're on your phone.

This is the second unit I have. I also bought one for my son in Montana. He keeps track of the weather at my places in Arkansas and Colorado, while I watch his in Montana. Nice to have piece of mind knowing cabin temperature is stable while I’m not there.

Easy purchase fast delivery

Everything was great and no issues. Everything came as suppose to and been enjoying the system and its features.

Only been up a week but everything seems to be working fine. System came online as advertised and had no problem with WiFi

The online ordering process was good. The resources to help determine details on the product for the purchase were excellent. There were some issues in viewing some of the material (I used Firefox application with DuckDuckGo browser), mainly due to overlapping text on web page. The time between ordering to the receipt of the merchandise was approximately 5 days. I received an email notice on order confirmation and shipping and also had the ability to track the package via the shipping carrier.

I do have some comments with respect to email technical support, but have decided not to address them in this review.

Looking forward to using this weather station for years to come.

Service is good, but difficult to navigate website and find software downloads and firmware updates.

The part came, it was well packed, and it worked. Now I can once more see the outside temperature and humidity.

Delivery was the next day, which was a big surprise because I didn't pay for it. The person who helped me at Ambient knew just what part I needed, sent it, I got it installed and voila working weather station again. Love it and I love my weather station.

My new indoor and outdoor air quality monitors have always produced false readings. Customer support is not responding. I will be returning $300 of dysfunctional Ambient Weather products.

Good price point for the replacement part I needed. However there were no instructions for installations delivered with the product or in your support or FAQ listings on the web. I had to resort to searching youtube for help. Since the video I found was created by Ambient Weather, I would think you should consider hosting this content in your support subsite. Would have saved me 30 mins of poking around and trying to tease out an article via your AI dialog.

Great products and service. I replaced my 8 year old weather beaten system that was still working but our new router did not support older Wi-Fi encryption for reporting. Now we have a new system that will be good for another 8 years.
