I bought the updated console so my weather station would connect to the internet. My old one apparently needed Ambient Tool app to connect and the app is discontinued. I returned the old console for a $35 refund as stated, but Ambient Weather just returned the old one to me, no refund. Actually since the original one (bought in 2019) did not function with internet, it seems only fair that you would just replace it free. So I had to pay $80+ to keep my weather station functioning, and it had been a gift from a family member. I will not be recommending Ambient Weather.

The ws2902D manual needs improvement in the wifi and publishing sections. When setting up wifi the first screen asks for an admin password which isn’t addressed in the manual. In the publishing section the server IP/ hostname for Weather Underground wasn’t provided and wasn’t straightforward to find on the web either. A screenshot with the WU publishing table filled out would make this step stress free.

I have a screen which, after being powered by the new adapter I purchased from you for use in Australia, now flashes on and off!!!??

It was tough finding the link to return on the website. I also didn’t appreciate the fee with the return as well. Overall, it wasn’t a great experience. I love my weather station though.

Tech support was very helpful and determined I need a new array. I ordered that day and it arrived in less than a week. While the instructions for installing the new array were excellent there was no guidance for rebooting the array. Another call to Tech support that as they walked me through the programming.

So far I am disappointed. I cannot respond about how the system works because I ran into trouble in the setup phase. I immediately contacted the Seller and quickly received a response giving me a ticket number of 101115 and letting me know I would hear from them. That was on Feb 18th. Today is the 29th and even with an extra day in February no response. I own 2 homes and had planned on having a unit in each as had my friend and neighbor. We are still hopeful, but hope diminishes daily. I hope that someone from Ambient reads this.

I sent a request for assistance through your website to get my Ambient Weather camera connected to my wireless router. I even attached an image of the issue I was having. That was a week ago. No reply. Great product. I love my WS2000 station but the support system is a zero.

My thermo/hygro module was shipped quickly. My weather station is working again. Phone support was quite good, but email took a week for a response. I appreciate that I could resrtore rthe wearther station's operation for $30. It was very reasonable. The Youtube video explaining the disassembly of the sensor suite fails to mention many details of the process, and makes disassembly look much too easy.
