Overall very good, items were delivered on time. A lot of the more interesting accessories are only available through Ambient Weather directly which is why I came to the store.
The duties and costs of shipping to Canada are a bit stiff. It makes it so it's not worth getting 1 or 2 accessories for your weather station as the duties and shipping can easily cost that of the items you are buying. If you are spending more than a couple hundred bucks then it's comparable to amazon prices and worth giving Ambient Weather the direct business.

The weather station is great, but YOUR SUPPORT IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! I have called numerous times and left a message 7 or 8 times for help connecting to the internet and nobody has returned my call. PLEASE CALL ME AT 205-886-7165.

I easily found the part I needed online at the AW website, placed my order and received my part within a few days. The pricing was reasonable, the website user friendly, and the shipment went out for free the next day. I couldn't be happier! Thanks AW.

The Ambient WS-2801A Weather Monitor arrived quickly on schedule and was packed well. Once I learned the programming sequence it was easier to calibrate all 3 remote sensors side by side outdoors next to a liquid control thermometer 🌡 so all 3 registered the exact same temp.
Then I distributed them around the outside of the house in shaded/sheltered locations. The bright color display console works well and is very clear for basic weather data without pushing a lot of function buttons.
I’m very satisfied with my purchases and although it wasn’t clear to me that it comes with a remote sensor, I bought 2 extras at the sale point and was pleasantly surprised to have a total of 3 to spot outside. Once calibrated it was interesting to see the temperatures change with the sun as the day progresses. Very satisfying.

This is the second Ambient Weather station I've purchased. This one is better in every way except the mounting bracket. The first one had a pipe extending out of the bottom that fit snuggly over a 1 inch electrical conduit, which made it easy to level and secure the unit. The newer version has a mounting bracket that attaches to the pole and it took a lot of work to get it somewhat stable and level. With all of the engineering that went into making this a great product, it seems they could come up with a better mounting system.

I have had my system now for about two weeks, it was easy to install and set up! I have had two different types of weather stations and this one by far is the best! I just Love the way that the Ambient Weather Station works!

Replaced my 6 year old WS2000. Kept the network infrastructure and console. Plugged right in, rebooted console, was back online to wunderground.com.
Love this separated design (ws2000 was all in one unit) less wind resistant and lighter.

Products are a notch above ann the others: backlight, auto scrolling through channels, reasonably priced add ons and key data on the display. On the other hand the programming is not good. I wanted to prevent scrolling to unused channgels. Can't find that in online FAQS or get phone feedback. Black abyss. Need more customer service to match the instruments outstanding design

More data with soil moisture and air quality sensors - really enjoy the step up in capability. The flexible views in the software (panels or charts) is great and works well with both phone and iPad.

I loved building my own weather station. It was very easy to do and I love the product I picked out.
