I’ve had my Ambient Weather Station for about two years and it is working perfectly. I would recommend installing the “bird spikes” on the rainfall gathering funnel. My weather station is mounted on a post in the field adjacent to our house. There are no trees or other elevated vegetation in the field, and the the birds like to sit on the rain gathering funnel while looking over the field for insects. This results” of course this is the birds use my rainfall collection funnel for a toilet! I just installed the “bird spikes” to remedy this. I hope it works!

So far everything is reporting as expected. Very pleased to find out this appears to be widely used. I trashed an AcuRite Atlas for this system because it became unreliable after a little over a year. I also have another one to replace at my daughters house in SC when I'm more sure of the reporting.

I like the product and it arrived promptly. In the final stages of setup, I made a call to ask a technical question and was really put off but the nonchalance of the person I spoke with. I bought my product directly yet I got very vague answers about some of its features and the incorrect guidance given by the accompanying owners manual.

I like the back light, a step up from my older, and still functioning 1171-B. It's been up and running for a week now and the RCC has not connected yet, and that is my reason for only 4 stars. everything else is fine so I hesitate to do a total re-boot. We shall see.

Great service on the purchase of the rain cover. Great product that restored my complete weather station back to normal operation.

The replacement rain gauge was received promptly and fits my weather station WS-2902A and works properly. The enclosed instructions were helpful. The only reason I did not rate 5 stars was because 3 foam pads were glued to the top and my rain collector would not go on the new unit without removing those pads and then it was too loose. Two layers of Gorilla tape in 3 locations solved the problem.

Packaging could have been better when shipped. Items were just thrown in and some of the boxes opened up before it was delivered. Otherwise happy with the product!
