This was my second purchase of an Ambient weather station, a step up in features from my first purchase. Comparing the models, their features and price was very easy on-line as was the eventual purchase and shipping process. It took a short time to get my weather station put together and up and operational. It’s working like a charm!

I love the support that Ambient gave me. I wish the unit lasted longer, but I live on the Outer Banks and the weather is pretty harsh. Still the best system around! Thanks, Ambient!

Absolutely love the the WS-2000!! The screen is bright and can be seen from all over the living room. Setup was simple and quick, with the wireless connection being the only thing that didn’t want to cooperate (it kept trying to connect to the neighbors). I am super pleased with my station!!

Still getting the 5000 set up. I assumed it would git on the same .5 inch mast as my current weather station. However the 5000 is sized for a 2” mast. Don’t understand why, appears to be about the same weight and cross-section.

Shopping experience was just fine!…easy to order, arrived in timely manner and appears intact with no damage.
Installation will occur in our other home in Florida upon our arrival there in October.
I expect to have no problem with the install and operation.

I recently received and set up my new Ambient WS-5000 - and my almost 4-year old Ambient WS-2902 WiFi Osprey that is still going strong. As a wanna-be weather science professional with many weather stations over the years, Ambient is my favorite company for weather science products. Shipping is great. Customer Service is great. Products reflect science-oriented approach to design. Furthermore, AmbientWeather.net is the least problematic and most user-friendly of all the online weather servers (to which PWS data may be uploaded).
