I like everything about this weather station except one thing. The base station will not stay illuminated under only battery power. I wanted to keep it on my coffee table where I could see it all the time. It would be nice to glance at it anytime to see the current conditions without having to get up to push a button to illuminate it. AC power is not convenient for a coffee table in the middle of the room without running an extension cord. I would not mind at all having to change out the batteries as often as needed.

Your web site was very infomative to help me make a informed decision ie features, comparesson to other models, ect for the weather station that i was loking for I'm replacing a crappy Lecross weather station I've had nothing but problems with since day one (owned it for nearly a year) i digress anyway purchase was a snap.

The Troubleshooting section should include instructions stating that if the tablet can't find the Wi-Fi source, then the source is hidden. Thus, one should go through the manual process of entering the 2.4 GHz code and the code for the shared key. Also, if the weather station data is still not being received, then the purchaser should go through the outside - re-registration process.

The console works as required. We needed a console that would work without wifi and this was the answer.

Easy transaction that worked properly right out of the box. This was an upgrade for me so I was already familiar with the ambient weather website and app. Good folks to do business with
