Had to interact with customer service to resolve a registration issue with the outside sensor suite. Otherwise all went well.

My experience was great. I found them through online searching and ended up calling their Arizona office and talked to a specialist who answered my questions. I like the fact that there is somebody available to ask questions of in case any future issues come up. I ened up buying 2 weather stations- one for my son and one for me!

This weather station is what I wanted. Downside is difficult to set up and change all the settings, and NO heated rain gauge

1 year warranty. I'm 6 months in. My wind cups flew off. It was during 70mph winds of Hurricane Ida. I was told this wasn't covered since it was due to nature. It's a weather station. It lives in nature. The neighbor's two Acurite anemometer wind cups didn't fly off nor did my old Acurite from before. Oh well...

I am extremely pleased with the WS-5000 Weather Station. It is doing a great job (as intended!) for our weather monitoring activities. The installation was easy and the setup for connection to our LAN was without any problems. Also, the setup for sharing our data went very well and without any issues. I can recommend this system to anyone who desires a quality system at an affordable cost to consider the Ambient solutions that are available.

Easy to purchase on the website, then good updates on shipping. Really appreciated the easy option to sign up for the newsletter and the "getting started" email that arrived before my weather station. Good insight into the shipping status- arrived quickly and well packaged. The tips for mounting helped, too. Love the website default dashboard to view my weather station content. It's a nice looking station, too. Overall, happy to have purchased direct from Ambient Weather and not on Amazon!

Unfortunately, it took me 4 attempts to reach them. I left 3 voice mail messages that we never answer. a 4th call to Sales solved my problem. Whoever owns this company has a very crappy and ineffective phone system. Not only are my messages either not delivered or ignored, the whole conversation with Sales was breaking up, I could understand every other word. They (this company) is treated like the ugly step childby the big company that owns them. Sad as they have a great product.

It was very easy to order from Ambient Weather. My WS-2000 arrived in two days in perfect order. I love how it comes with a detailed printed owners manual - way to go Ambient Weather!

Very pleased with this purchase. The set-up, while not exactly easy, went well, and we are happy with the colorful, easy-to-read screen. So much weather information to have at hand now.

Got the weather station up and it is working as it should. Have to say the monitor SUCKS. Unless you are looking at the screen at just the right angle it is dark and unreadable.

Quick turnaround. My items came in good shape. Now I just need to get the weather station down off its mast and make the upgrades!
Oh, and put it back up again without dropping it again. (16'mast: metal electrical conduit with a connector to hold the 2 pieces together, and a 30" pipe to stiffen the joint. Worked great, but watch out for out-of-balance and intertia!)

One app that led me through the process of installation from beginning to end would have made this a pleasant experience.
