Knowledgeable, courteous, professional help was provided. Had attempted all suggested trouble-shots published in manual but to no avail. Then The tech walked me thru how to re-sync our sensor array with a new console.

Outdoor humidity sensor failed and is a known problem on the ws2902A arrays.
I ordered a new one from Ambient. Quick shipping of just 3 days at no additional shipping costs.
It arrived well packed with detailed, easy to understand instructions.
It booted up and so far it works as it should.
I might add it came with the rain sensor unit also, a surprise as it is not listed or shown in the pix of the humidity part.
That made up for the fact the humidity part prematurely failed at about 18 months of usage.
Overall I'm happy and like the ws 2902A, also I encouraged both of my grown chilr\dren to also purchase them.

I installed the replacement rain gauge per instructions. Comparing it to another ambient weather station I also have, it is inaccurate. Seems a waste of money.

The WS-5000 was easy to setup and connect to my Wi-Fi network. It is working perfectly, and the color display is fantastic. By far it is the best weather station on the market!!

My 2nd purchase from Ambient Weather. I wanted to upgrade/add a 2nd monitoring point. Setup and installation went smooth and easily integrated into my HomeAssistant and WordPress apps.

Metal bird spikes need to be either larger or the holes they go into on the rubber ring that holds them smaller. They tend to spin around if jostled by wildlife. Other than that, simple installation.

Really great weather station! Great to share weather information via Ambient Weather and others! One question I have is the "Light" feature...is the the number of daylight hours?

Helpful and accessible but further research revealed a less expensive work-around they were apparently unaware of.

I now have both the soil moisture monitor(s)and Lightning detector. And both work well with my WS-2000 weather display. AW has been very helpful in most aspects of my purchase. The shipping was free and fast. That fact is important since I live in Hawaii were shipping costs are high. The instructions are good and setup is straight forward and easy. I was pleased that the sensors were able to be read at the farthest corners of my acre of land. Thank you very much AW.
