Diptych: Virgin of Kazan and Christ Blessing, gold foil, small icons
I misread the size as total dimensions. It’s very very large. Wonderful details in the art and the box is an exact fit. Beautiful in every way. Extremely happy with this. They now sit in front of my bed and I see them whenever I look up. The way the metal catches my fan light is perfect and highlights their faces so well.

Akathist to the Mother of God: Healer of Cancer
Prayed this each day for my father when he was diagnosed with melanoma on the top of his head. Happy to say that the physicians were able to remove it and his pathology report stated that the cancer had not spread. Hail to the Pantanassa, Healer of Cancer

The Ancient Faith Psalter
Translations vary, however, all of them generally agree in "spirit" and that is what matters. The translations are fine and, in many instances , beautiful.
I do wish that the suggested manner and usage (rubrics) were a little more explicit so as to assist someone coming from a Roman Catholic background could more easily adapt to the manner of prayer.
Just as an example, the rubrics in the Latin Rite Liturgy of the Hours is almost exhaustive and conveyed in great detail so that even someone who is unfamiliar with the same could easily follow along.
So I am doing my best, by the grace of God and I am hoping that I am praying the same properly.

The Ancient Faith Psalter
I have about eight Psalters. This is my favorite in terms of language. Very easy to read more modern English, much like the Ancient Faith Prayer Book. No tongue twisters. No strange word order. Everything just flows.
I really wish they would do a nicer version with sewn binding, better paper and real leather cover. I’d buy a version like that in a heartbeat, even if it were $50. It would be my end all be all Psalter. As it is now I still use my other Psalters about half the time because they are so much higher quality physically. Sometimes I just want the feel of a high quality book in the hand.

The Suitcase: A Story about Giving
This book is a beautiful example of living like Christ. As I read through this book, it gave me the feeling that this insightful child might be considered on the spectrum, and this would be a good book to have for inclusion. He shows his family what he would bring with him in his suitcase on the journey to the Kingdom of God. This book is heartfelt and brought me to tears. Thomas has the sweetest heart!

2027 Icon Calendar: Saints for Various Needs (Gregorian version, new calendar)
The calendar is beautiful and I love that the fast days are clearly marked. The calendar is large and the icons are too. There is a page toward the beginning with a small informational on the saint in each icon throughout the year. Definitely worth purchasing.

The Age of Nihilism: Christendom from the Great War to the Culture Wars
This is a long audio book, almost 18 hours of dense information covering how Nihilism wove through and influenced Nazism, Communism and Liberalism; and in turn the influence these ideologies have had on western thought/culture. This in depth history is presented from a uniquely Orthodox perspective that I found both interesting and thought provoking. The chapters on Nietzsche, Wagner and Dostoevsky were extremely interesting and informative. The author explains how the search for utopia and/or paradise on earth without God has failed, leaving the world in the state we find ourselves today. This audio book was not always an easy read/listen, but it is packed full of fascinating information and analysis and definitely worth the time.

The words of St.Seraphim to the imprisoned Bishop is universal to all who are suffering. It will open your eyes and give you a better understanding of our God’s love. I had peace and hope others will also.
