Nice books but very small and not worth the price.

I have one in my glove box and keep an extra in case I have family or guests attending services with me.

I homeschool my children and we will become catechumens soon! This not only is teaching my daughter but it is also teaching me as well! I highly recommend this curriculum!

St. Elia Church School Program will be using The Divine Liturgy this 2026-27 year. We added last year a music monthly component to our program. The music program coordinated with the Moses curriculum and will also this new year curriculum.

Delivery took longer to get than expected, but arrive in time for the baptism in good condition. It was perfect size for an adult and the newly illumined female loved it. It was exactly what she wanted. The chain was the perfect length; not too short and not too long.

Our family is new to Orthodoxy and this is a great way to teach us about the Faith

Great book and service, from Ancient Faith, was excellent

Great quality, geeat look!

Thia large, well-made box is perfect if you have accumulated, like me, small crosses, booklets, prayer cards, pendants, and other jewelry that are perfect for storage. The hinges are solid, and the latch id strong and doesn’t slip open. The cover cross print can even be swapped out for a photo or card of yor choice. Overall, I highly recommend this treasure box for its beauty and usefulness. Well Done!

I was so excited to get this little book. I immediately recorded it and posted it to YouTube because I found that nobody had done it previously. What a shame! Most Holy Theotokos, Save Us!

I really enjoyed "101 Orthodox Saints" so also bought this book. It has a good intro, good references, easy & enjoyable to read (learning about the saints in a way that works for me at this stage of my journey). I look forward to reading through this beautiful book!

Very nice Bible and well constructed. Love the footnotes for sure. I am enjoying this every day! Thank you

I recently placed an order and accidentally entered the wrong shipping address. My item was returned to The Ancient Faith Store and once they received the correct address they sent the item a second time and did not charge me any extra for MY mistake - THANK YOU!

I really like this planner! The 55 maxims are wonderful! It has everything in it I like to have in a planner plus taking care of the spiritual. If I was to add anything to this planner it would be the daily Liturgy readings and maybe a larger size option for extra room for homeschool planning.

Our family has used this in a number of different versions over the years; this is the latest version, and well put-together. These days, my wife and I use the prayers around Confession each time, and they are very helpful.

This little book is full of information and is a great catechism. It is good for converts like me. It's also great for cradleborns.

This curriculum is unlike any curriculum I have ever seen!

As I paged through it, I just kept saying, “WOW! This is great!

The design is exceptional.

I have been teaching Sunday School and Homeschool for decades. Unlike some teachers who love all curriculum, I sometimes look at curriculum packages I encounter the same way an unenthusiastic student might - with dread. I’ve become quite selective (you could say picky) in my curriculum tastes, and very seldom find one that I think, “WOW! This is great!”

But this one? “WOW! This is great!”

Why is it great?

1) The writing style is simple, and clear; but, the content is deep and profound at the same time. I guarantee that no matter how educated you are in the Faith - even if you have a graduate degree in Theology - you’ll find things you don’t know. And no matter how uneducated you are in the Faith - she’ll make what she shares seem easy!

2) It teaches the teacher. How many times have I heard someone say, “I’d like to teach Sunday School . . . if only I knew enough!” So many willing teachers hesitate because they don’t feel comfortable in their own grasp of the topic. This curriculum prepares those teachers. It explains so many things - yet - it doesn’t seem difficult to learn, because she makes it so simple and clear. Each lesson has a “Foundational Knowledge for the Teacher” section, and Ancient Faith Parenting on YouTube is actively adding videos for teachers of each lesson

3) It works for all ages. Do you have a Sunday School that’s K-12, and want to teach them all the same thing? Do you homeschool all different grades, and want to do a single topic for a year? This package can make it happen!

4) It incorporates all the learning styles and personalities. Jennifer’s substantial experience teaching children with all levels of ability - from special needs to gifted, from bookish, to tactile, to bundle-of-energy, gives her a great understanding - and in turn will give you a great understanding - of how to reach all the personalities and abilities under your care.

5) It has fun - without fluff! It also has no stilted, archaic, wordy filler - just simple and straight forward text.

6) The video series that is being rolled out at the Ancient Faith Parenting channel on YouTube is priceless - it offers amazing training, by Jennifer herself, that will walk you through each step of the process. It’s like having an experienced mentor, mom and teacher walk you through the whole process.

7) The illustrations by Kaitlin Gallimore are attractive, informative, and reverent, and will help your students understand, see the truths in the Icons, and stay focused on what you’re sharing. See photographs I included. Art is better looked at than talked about : )

8) It doesn’t require much prep time. Experienced teachers know that prep time can really be a point of friction. With this package, you look at the list of materials and make sure you have everything on hand a week or so ahead (most things you will already have, but a few books for stories are suggested too - you’ll probably want to get those if you don’t already have them). Then the night before, spend just a few minutes reading the “Foundational Knowledge for the Teacher” and watching Jennifer’s great, but fairly short videos on Ancient Faith Parenting - look over the plan for the kids, and you’re ready to roll!

I have known this author, Jennifer Hock, for many years now, since I was a Catechumen in the same Parish she and her family attended. I have long admired her dedication to the Church, her devout life, and her dedication to teaching the Faith to children - her own and others. I’ve watched her children grow up, and rejoiced with her as grandchildren arrived. When I started homeschooling, she’s the one I went to for advice.

As long as I have known her, she has had a devotion to the topic of teaching the Divine Liturgy.

But, I never really understood why she was so devoted to this topic, until I received this curriculum, and began to see a little of the depth in the topic that she sees in it!

Through the lens of the Divine Liturgy, she makes connections to so many essential topics: Church history, Iconography, Hymns, Sacramental Life, Prayer . . . and so much more!

Once you begin to see all the connections she sees, then it seems obvious that every Orthodox Christian should be enthusiastic about learning and teaching this material!

I told our Parish’s Sunday School director that this curriculum was going to be published, and encouraged her to look at the website. I offered to loan her my copy when I got it. By the time I got mine, she had already ordered her own, and was preparing to teach the kids in our Parish from it!

I highly & enthusiastically recommend this curriculum!

I was baptized Serbian Eastern Orthodox as an infant 66 years ago. I drifted away from God, but thankfully he came looking for me. The more I study Orthodoxy, the more it feels right to me. This Bible is helping me gain a better understanding of the need for the influence of the Holy Trinity in my life. I also have a prayer book and spend much more time in prayer. Blessed be the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Now and forever. Amen

I was thinking, and hoping, that this book was a hagiography of St. Aidan for teenagers. When it arrived, and I began to read it, I don't know how to express this, but it belongs more oto the genre of poetry/prose or an "artsy-type" book. I was disappointed.

Not too verbose and helps frame the concepts down so that you're given a why as to the how and what. A worthy title to have for anyone that wants a bit more practicality to their journey.
