The Age of Utopia: Christendom from the Renaissance to the Russian Revolution
This book is aimed at a popular audience as opposed to a more scholarly audience, which is fine. It has the advantage of having some extremely compelling individual sections, and it surely brings many unexpected characters together in the same historical narrative. One weakness throughout is that it doesn’t really demonstrate how the Christian East retained its “paradisiacal” character throughout the period covered, though it does do a good job at showing the westernization of Russia in various ways. Very good book, on the whole. Thought provoking.

Beautiful Pascha: An Orthodox Coloring Book for Children
Review from 6 year old:
"I like this book because it's about God and because God is important to us. I like sharing the book with my family. I like that there are coloring pages and activity pages. I really like it because it's all about Holy God!"
Review from Mom:
This coloring book is great for the whole family. There are simple and intricate coloring pages to keep young and older kids (and adults) involved. The pages are perforated so that several kids can work on a page at a time. The themes of the pages start with Zacchaeus Sunday through Bright Week which could be used as weekly activity for the family. I highly recommend this coloring/activity book for any Orthodox family. My kids are so excited to work on more pages and I enjoyed coloring an icon too.

The Gurus, the Young Man, and Elder Paisios
Wonderful book. Very well written discussing topics that are relevant to today's current climate of religious and "spiritual" confusion.

Love Comes Down (board book)
This is a great, calming, thoughtful, and rhythmic childrens book that will make a perfect story of memory for our children to look back to and hopefully share with their children. And the included song is such an added gift.
Thank you!
Thank you!

The Mother of God in Icons (board book)
Very nice! Little dude likes the Theotokos, and gets a kick out of comparing the icons in the book to the icons in the church. Also robust enough to withstand 2-yr-molar teething. Win-win!

Fasting Food: Lenten Recipes from a Greek Kitchen
This cookbook was fairly disappointing. We got a few recipes that were ok, but most of the recipes aren't very good.

2027 Icon Calendar: Saints for Various Needs (Gregorian version, new calendar)
Beautiful calendar but would have liked more complete listing of the Holy Days & celebrations (e.g. only one Saturday of the Souls is listed during Lent).
