Orthodoxy and Islam in the Middle East: The Seventh to the Sixteenth Centuries
A wonderful book! It has maps and a timeline. It lists sources as manuscripts, primary sources, and secondary sources. Footnotes give sources and further information. It is clear and well written. It is not a "quick read". Take time to explore the vast information in this book.

My Orthodox Prayer Book
I love my prayer book. Morning prayers are uplifting and holy. I take it everywhere I go. The ones I purchased were for gifts to friends. My personal one has been in my possession for ten years. It is a doxology to help us get through the day.

The Ancient Faith Prayer Book, deluxe edition
Beautiful. Quality is excellent. Beautiful, supple cover. The paper quality is great. It just feels really good in your hands. The typeface is attractive and easy to read. As far as content goes it is also excellent. It is a more modern translation without the thees, thous, and thys, but which is still beautiful and poetic. I have been praying with this book for over a year now and I take it with me everywhere I go. There is also an ebook version, which is nice if you don't have your prayer book on you you can still pray the prayers you are accustomed too.

Everywhere Present: Christianity in a One-Storey Universe
Fr Stephen's blogs and videos on Protecting the Veil YouTube Channel has always been enlightening to me (someone who was raised with a 2 story world Protestant view) So to read this book at no surprise was enlightening Matter matters because God maintains all things
And don't look for a stairway to Heaven but

Fasting as a Family: Planning and Preparing Delicious Lenten Meals
This is an excellent resource for anyone new to fasting, and in our case as recent converts to the Orthodox Church it was extremely helpful as we prepared for the Lenten fast. Much more than a cookbook, it teaches and explains both the fundamentals and the finer details behind all levels of fasting, and actually makes it fun and rewarding rather than a dreaded experience. Highly recommended.

Being somewhat new to Orthodoxy, I like the reminders of holy days and fast days. And it's just stunning artwork!

Icon Bracelet with Wood Beads
I am so happy I found this icon bracelet. I had one years ago but broke it. I was very excited to see this in the catalog. The icons are more beautiful than can be photographed. It serves as a great reminder that my actions and words are a reflection of Orthodox Christians.

The Age of Utopia: Christendom from the Renaissance to the Russian Revolution
We're half way into the third volume now, excellent writing and mind-opening perspectives. Strickland gradually shows us a form of critique of Modernity through what it is missing in the culture, and the manifestations of secular and rational replacements that might seem to be insufficient. As an aside, the concurrence with Iain McGilchrist's new book depicting a modern era dominated by the world of the left hemisphere, gives pause. But both books points to suggestions for solutions and how to start mitigating some of these contemporary challenges.

Love Comes Down (board book)
Love Comes Down is a gentle, comforting read that shows young children how the love of Christ infuses every part of their lives. With warm illustrations, sturdy pages, and a sweet melody to sing with the words, this book became a quick favorite with our preschooler.

The Bible and the Holy Fathers for Orthodox
Life changing, encouraging and also humbling experience in my life. Their wisdom and love for Christ is so pure and
full of love . I have been especially humbled by their desire to know in whom they believe. I would recommend it to any one who is Christian to bring balance and grounding to the mindset of the early church so we can live in unity of God's Spirit today in our faith, beliefs, and communion.

The Age of Paradise: Christendom from Pentecost to the First Millennium
I enjoyed Fr John Strickland's podcast and was thrilled to find out he had published books. I am enjoying Vol I now ("Age of Paradise") and can almost hear his voice narrating, from his podcast. It is saddening to see innovations introduced in the name of "reform" (in the east, iconoclasm, in the west, Augustinian influence, then Charlemagne's deliberate prejudice against "the Greeks", addition of the filoque, and so forth). Still, I'm looking forward to reading Vol II next.
