Very nice quality. I like the fact that it contains the whole deuterocanon.

"Love Comes Down" is a charming board book, a sweet song, a tender depiction of love, and a gorgeous collection of paintings, all in one! The book will delight even the youngest child with relatable activities like playing outside, planting seeds, and building a snowman. The song is printed in the back of the book, and, by using the QR code provided, we are also treated to Frasch singing it. Simple and easy to learn, the song will become a favorite of any young reader!
This book shows how simple things – the kiss of the sun, the purr of a cat, the falling leaves – can be experienced as gifts of love, and how we are able to pass on this love through simple gestures, such as rescuing a baby bird, or caring for a sick friend. At the conclusion of the book, Love Came Down relates this love to the gift of Jesus who “cares for us all.” The book has a subtle Christian theme throughout, and it uses universal experiences to teach the power of love.
What really sets this book apart has to be Mefford’s exquisite illustrations! Nearly every page is a stunning full page painting, with rich colors and delightful details. The drawings include children of different cultures and ethnicities, so the book is readily accessible to many. The imagery beautifully expresses the meaning of the gentle text, with movement in the art work and small wonders throughout the book.
I have read Love Came Down many times, and I am still finding new surprises. This book will be loved by parents, grandparents, and teachers, as well as by the children who hear it read, and sung, to them. Enjoy!

Great workman ship but much smaller than I thought it would be

Absolutely beautiful!! The print quality is high, the paper is heavy and the images are glorious! Will be purchasing annually for myself and best friend.

Great, beautiful red and blue Vigil glass. The colors are beautiful. I put some in the Shrine at my Greek Church.
Thank you,
John

This prayer book has helped me so much with my prayer routine. I use it several times a day and absolutely love it.

A Wilde

Somehow my last one who legs and walked away and I’ve got a good number of hours of prayer invest in that one this one seems to be very nice and stepped right into the void left by the one that walked away it is beautiful help me well my prayers and I greatly thank you God bless

Exactly how I saw her in my dream many years ago absolutely splendid.

As a protestant who is converting to Orthodoxy , this book simulated my journey for God. Even though I am not a pastor, I had the nagging yearning to found out what the early church believed and what happened to the church after Pentecost . In my journey theology was all that mattered and why so many disagreements between Christians. Where was the discipleship process? So this book answered many of my questions.

I love it

Love Comes Down is a beautifully written and illustrated book that children and adults will enjoy. It’s a simple story about the nature of God and His love for us which comes down in our everyday experiences. I highly recommend it.

Very informative. I have been reading the bible thru on a 2 year schedule for many years and before that at least 7 years on a yearly basis you can imagine all the questions I have accumulated over that time. Have read many commentaries etc. and most never really satisfied my questions or they lead to more questions. Father Stephen's book has answered more of the questions and laid the information out better than any other source I have found and all of that in one book. I read my son's copy then I ordered 3 more one for me to keep one for a friend and one for my brother. Thanks keep up the good work.

With great anticipation I recently received a copy of the latest volume from Father John Strickland, "Age of Utopia". Having enjoyed reading the first two volumes, I was eager to begin reading this one. I was not disappointed. It is a wonderful overview of the time period covered and has helped me to better understand the history of the church and the world!
History was never my favourite subject in school. Lacking knowledge in this area it was great to discover the history I missed or was never taught. Father John's books greatly help me to make sense of chaos and confusion apparent in Christianity and the world. This book, along with the other volumes, will get lots of wear as I plan to re-read it and lend it out to friends. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to know how we got to where we are.

Lovely, beautiful cards.

I just love this Little Church Planner. It is helping me with my new year's resolutions to read the Bible more, be more organized, and be calmer. The format is very nice and it is a perfect size.

Great read. One of those books that you can't put down once you start and then are left wanting more. I hope DeYoung continues to write more short and concise books like this.

Purchased twelve of these books …gave them to some of my Grand Children for future matured consumption. Best simplified book of the Apocalypse. Anthony

Not my kind of decoration

It was a hit with the recipients. I’ll reorder twelve more next year. Anthony

Very nice!
