St Seraphim’s Beatitudes: Blessings for Our Path to Heaven
Perfect book for a child (7+) who is beginning to understand the lives of the Saints. Colorful images on each page. We could not put it down and will most likely read it over and over.

The Lightkeeper: A Novel
This was the first novel I have read in years. It is a work of artful wonder. I wonder what is next? Where will she go? Who will she see? The wonder of the lighthouses and their beautiful lights. The wonder of a life traveled so broadly. Exquisitely written. This book is now a beloved friend whom I will read many, many more times.

Orthodox Worship: A Living Continuity with the Synagogue, the Temple, and the Early Church
I was very impressed with the layout and contents of the book. I intend to re-write my Catechism lessons around "Orthodox Worship" in the very near future. (Orthodox priest)

Practicing Prayer: A Daily Workbook
Practicing Prayer: A Daily Workbook by Alexander Goussetis is a five star- beginning manual for those who are new to Orthodoxy and to those who wish to continue to deepen their prayer life with God.
It follows a schedule that takes one from how to Create a Prayer Space, to the postures of prayer, spiritual journaling and use of quotations by the saints of our Church.
It is easy to follow and duplicate these in your own life and it greatly helped me! Highly recommend!

The Orthodox Study Bible, Ancient Faith Edition, Leathersoft: Ancient Christianity Speaks to Today’s World
It is made well enough, except the quality of paper still shows the text through the next page. Still have to use a black sheet of paper behind what I am reading so it doesn't distract so much. For the price, they could have used a better quality paper. Other than this, I find the icons in this Bible to be extraordinarily nice. It doesn't appear to be Smyth sewn, only glued. The glue leaked out at the bottom and dried. Nice font size in the text of the Bible and the notes. The cover seems heavy enough to last, even though it is not leather. It only has one ribbon. For the price I would have expected two ribbons, and nicer quality ones at that. One ribbon for the Old Testament and one ribbon for the New Testament is the standard.

The Lightkeeper: A Novel
This is a beautifully written novel that is complex yet simple, colorful yet somber and overall enriching on so many levels. It is throughly enjoyable to learn about the technical aspects of lighthouses and the sacrificial lives of light keepers, throughout the ages. The author draws you in with unbelievable imagery and detail packed into every single sentence. The mysterious Keeper will surprise you, amaze you and inspire you.

A Faith Encouraged: A Devotional Guide to Being Orthodox on Purpose
This is an excellent, thought provoking resource for daily bible study. I have heartily enjoyed its short, but thoughtful commentaries and often find myself referring back to them in a way that extends the morning bible reading across my days more usefully.

Meditations for Pascha: Reflections on the Pentecostarion
This meditation book enhanced my spiritual and prayer life from Pascha to Pentecost. It helped me dive deeper upon reflection on the Samaritan Woman, the Blind Man and kneeling prayers (there’s more) as we are guided further in the liturgical cycle and entrance to the season of the Holy Spirit.

The Orthodox Study Bible, Ancient Faith Edition, Leathersoft: Ancient Christianity Speaks to Today’s World
I can’t describe to you how much I love this Bible. I already owned the Orthodox Study Bible in the hardcover edition, and decided to treat myself to this Leathersoft edition. It is so beautifully made, and will certainly last a lifetime. I actually prefer Leathersoft over genuine leather because of its durability. The content of this OSB is exactly like the hardcover edition, right down to the formatting, and contains notes on almost every page, an introduction for each book, beautiful icons, maps, and even a section of prayers at the beginning. I advise treating yourself to this beautiful Leathersoft edition - it will be the last OSB you will ever need to buy!

The Broken Wheel: The Triumph of Saint Katherine
I bought it for my daughter when she turned 10 this year. St. Catherine is her namesake. She learned more about this holy martyr. She read it in one sitting and couldn’t wait to share what excited her! It was truly a joy to watch this piece of her faith grow. She has set up a little prayer corner in her room (her own idea!) and is keeping this book there. I’m so grateful to God and to Ancient Faith for resources like these.
