Board Book Gift Bundle
Thankful for these books that my husband and I read to our 4 month old baby girl. These will be helpful in teaching her about the Orthodox faith as she grows and learns about Christ’s abundant love for her. Josiah and Julia go to church is a cute way to show her polite church etiquette. The pictures are colourful and bright!

The Orthodox Study Bible, Ancient Faith Edition, Hardcover: Ancient Christianity Speaks to Today’s World
i have used the Orthodox Study Bible since it came out. I really like it however, the Old Testament is different than a Protestant Old Testament and that takes some getting used to. I ordered this one for my 16 yr old granddaughter so she could read the books in the OT that the Protestant Bible doesn't have Tobit, Judith, Wisdom of Sirach and especially the stories in Daniel on Suzanna and Daniel and Bel and the dragon.
I have not become Orthodox yet, I go to an independent Catholic church that leans toward the Orthodox theology. I like the study notes and the articles in this Bible.
The one nice thing this particular Bible has that my original one doesn't have are the prayer at the beginning for taking the Eucharist. I like how easy they are and colorful.

Tending the Garden of Our Hearts: Daily Lenten Meditations for Families
"Tending the Garden..." is educational and enlightening, regardless of the reader's age. Although I converted more than 35 years ago, I have learned a great deal about the Orthodox faith and our Lenten journey. I have begun giving this book as a gift to our new converts at my church.

Ornament, Inexhaustible Cup with incense
This little icon is so beautiful and small it is full of detail and it is lightweight . You can put it in your purse or hang it in your car. I put it under my pillow at night because She is so miraculous and I love having Our Lady Queen of All close by.

Thirty Steps to Heaven: The Ladder of Divine Ascent for All Walks of Life, LARGE PRINT EDITION
This is an intense study forvthose who have a bit of orthodoxy under their belts. Very well written but you need to devote time and attention to its study. Classic Lenten read but not for starters. I have even read it can be dangerous for the unready.

Great introduction to Orthodoxy! Only downside is waking up early on Sundays again after it led me back to the church.
