The Scent of Holiness: Lessons from a Women's Monastery
I am on my second reading of this wonderful book. Constantina Palmer writes in such a way that I can identify with her as she learns so much from these godly women! I am giving copies of The Scent of Holiness to three friends this Christmas; may they be as blessed as I am by this book. Barbara Pelleau

Merry Christmas (2023), pack of 15 Christmas cards, SOLD OUT
I really liked the cards I picked. It was cheery and also depicted the birth of our Lord wishing the ornaments.
My favorite however a few years ago I purchased the perfect cards from you. It was a scene of Jesus birth with the words on the front: Love was born in Bethlehem. Hope you offer that I. 2024.

Behold a Great Light: A Daily Devotional for the Nativity Fast through Theophany
A gladsome, worthwhile purchase.
The authors write intelligent, also down-to-earth, reflections which are beautiful and educational. Such as the challenges of being a shepherd in days before the comforts of modern technology, conveniences.
Each author's uniqueness is evident, all linked by the "s/Spirit of Orthodoxy".
I am grateful for this Orthodox Advent devotional, to deepen my relationship with Orthodoxy.

Goodnight, Child of God (board book)
This is one of our new favorite bedtime books. The rhymes are wonderful and the iconography is remarkable. It is rare to find such beautiful art work in a children's book that generates questions from our kids. We have a 6 year old and 4 year old - both love this book. Make this your next book to get for kids.

Brave, Faithful, and True: Children of the Bible
Each chapter of this book is written from the perspective of a child whose story is told in the Bible, granting a glimpse into what life was like for children in that time. Readers will feel that they have stepped back in time, gaining new understanding of the Bibleās stories about these children, by hearing the story ātoldā from the childās point of view. Even those who are very familiar with these children's stories will come away with new insights.
It is this readerās opinion that this book will be a classic, read (and reread) by children and adults alike, for years to come. Every reader will come away encouraged and strengthened in their faith. "Brave Faithful and True" may have been written for and about children, but there is something for everyone in its pages.

This book was a great read.
It dumbed down a lot of the confusing aspects of the church and gave clarity and guidance on why the Orthodox Church is the NT church.

Got here fast. Thin book though. It's what the Bible study I'm in is reading next.

Led by His Love: An Evangelical Pastorās Journey to the Orthodox Faith
This book is truly excellent. As an Orthodox Christian with southern Baptist roots, I felt a deep connection to Fr. Gordon and was inspired by his passion, sincerity, and simplicity.
I continue to benefit from his legacy despite never having known or met him, and this book felt like reading a history of my spiritual family.

Goodnight, Child of God (board book)
This book helps children see how all of creation sleeps for the night, bringing comfort to them as they drift off to sleep. It shares the love of God and the saints above watching over us, reassuring children they are loved and cared for. There is a lot of theology within the simple sentences to teach about the church as well. My girls are 7 and 9 and still love reading this sweet book. It will be a favorite for years to come.

The Ancient Faith Prayer Book
I've been using this to pray everyday and it's such a comforting addition to my prayer practice. It's so good to have the right words to say to God before I supplement it with my typical chaotic prayer, where I just ramble to the Lord like He's a friend sitting next to me. I'm not fully Orthodox (yet), and I think this is a great product for any type of Christian who's looking for more humility, reverence, self-deprecation in their prayer life. I was tired of talking to God like He's a 'blessing vending machine' and this prayer book effectively nips that sort of relationship in the bud.
Only issue I had was that the first time this item was delivered to my house, it actually wasn't. I received an empty Amazon Prime envelope, so it seems someone either stole it from the envelope or it slipped out. I hope that whoever found this book finds a blessing therein. Amazon sent a replacement so it's all fine now. To avoid shipping and delivery issues, you can also find this product in the original publisher's website (Ancient Faith Ministries) for the exact same price.

Goodnight, Child of God (board book)
This is a beautiful book! The rhymes are easy to read (which this parent loves!) and go so well with the illustrations. It is packed with theology that is presented in such a comforting way that I actually felt that comfort as an adult while reading it. If you have a child with a shorter attention span (IE my 1yo) you can read the first two lines of each page and it still sounds great and makes sense and my 1yo makes it through to the end! This will be a family favorite for many many years!
