Risk Assessment During the Recovery
The risk assessment standards while well written are not designed to work efficiently with small entities like Phase 3 governmental units for example. The laborious process of addressing each assertion in such detail leads to just filling out forms and driving up costs to clients and stress on audit staff, as opposed to a more simplified evaluation of the environment and assigning appropriate tests of accounts and transactions to minimize overall audit risk. It makes one wonder if people approving these have really applied them in an audit if a small town of say 1500 citizens or a small water system as is common.

I did notice a big difference between remote (very little interaction and then typically the same attendees) vs. being in-person where there was much more involvement. The largest value I obtain from this training is that discussion so would attend in person next time, if given the option.
