I was hoping for more detailed information rather than overall items to consider. For example, when is a QTIP most beneficial, templates for wording, simple family situations, not just large estates. I am sure the handouts be useful should I have a client who needs planning for a large estate. I was hoping for ideas on how to handle the loss of stretch IRAs besides purchasing life insurance, charitable donations, or Roth conversions. For example, child inherits 1/2 IRA and spouse the other. If spouse has lifetime use of half, can the remaining go to the child at spouse's death, thus starting new 10 year period for distributions? If so, what is the structure.
