I was disappointed. There were too many slides and the presenter was just pushing through them. Obviously he is well versed in the subject matter. However, if you are not a specialist in the area, it was hard to really learn any of the slide deck matters. He just assumed that everyone understood all of the concepts. His nuances were not helpful if you didn’t have an underlying knowledge of each of the technical issues. Ultimately, I had hoped to learn some good recommendations for blended families who are not necessarily millionaires or exceedingly wealthy. Unfortunately, this did not happen. Perhaps I missed a description when the webinar was advertised indicating the program was only for specialists in the area?

While it provided a lot of information, it didn't provide the details and planning going into the various scenarios as I thought it would. I belevie a look at the issues facing 90% of blended families is better than a lot of informatiion that only 10% wil use. For the 1st time in over 30 years i felt it was just a passing of slides information and not hands on practical tips for most situations.

I may not have read the description close enough, but I was hoping that the course would include a variety of strategies and structures for different blended family scenarios. There was some strategies mentioned towards the end (QTIP, other trusts, etc.); however there was a significant portion of the content dedicated to engagement acceptance and liability.
