I like the fact that the workouts are shorter, most under 45 minutes, so if you are pressed for time that works well. The upper body with weights moves with a lot of speed; that's ok, I just use pause and rewind a lot. The main reason for only 3 stars is that it is the first time I have been disappointed with the quality of one of Cathe's dvd's. Several times when moving from the workout to one of the bonuses, the transition is just chopped, often in the middle of a sentence. A couple of times after the ab bonus, it just ends, and I have to go back to the beginning and scroll through to find the stretch. Not the quality that I have come to expect, and also the first time I have seen Cathe not introduce the crew.

Strong Body Stacked Sets: Lower Body DVD (from the LITE series)
This is hands down my favorite lower body workout! It is fast-paced and keeps my heart rate up. I use heavier weights than what is recommended, and boy does that make a difference! Excellent workout!

Muscle Max DVD (from the Hardcore series)
I bought the Muscle Max DVD, I believe in 2007. Due to a car injury, in 2011, I had to stop working out. I recently began reusing Muscle Max and just as years ago, in a week's time I noticed an increase in my strength, energy level, my physical appearance, and how great I felt/feel overall. The workout encourages me to eat healthier, as not doing so, defeats the purpose of using the video. Anyhow, my coworker's wife workouts regularly, but is dissatisfied with her appearance; she doesn't see any results. I could think of no other remedy, than Muscle Max. Already, my coworker's wife is seeing definition in her arms and legs; results!! Muscle Max makes a huge difference, not only in one's physical appearance, but in one's energy level, choice in foods, mindset and overall health!! Can't thank you enough!!

Love it. I like to just lift. And this DVD set is awesome. It does have some cardio with it. But the lifting DVD part is excellent I do have the ride which I had gotten separately a while back that is a really good DVD for spinning.

So far I am loving this DVD set! I have been using Cathe as my go to, hard core instructor for over 20 years, but as I get older, some of her more traditional training methods have become too hard on my joints. I only do this on low energy days but it is strengthening and marvelously relaxing. 2 half hour premixes or 50 minute full length workout make it the perfect length for whatever my time allows.
