Faith in the firearm manufacturers community has been restored. Charlie Customs was absolutely fantastic to work with. I had heard rustlings about this company and never in a negative connotation, which is pretty unheard of. Really wanted to jump down the pistol to SBR route and decided on Geissele SD. Well, they’re never in stock and the price has gone gone up exponentially, with good reason. Enter the absolute gems that make up Charlie Customs! The ‘Black ‘n Tan’ on paper met and exceeded what i could build at home with the added benefit of not having to quest out for each part. Throughout the entirety of purchase i was kept well informed, all dates and windows were accurate, and the everything was communicated expertly. My biggest surprise was that they shipped me the upper and my FFL the lower. This meant i could attach my suite of accessories before breaking her in at the range without making two trips. Never have I had a company do that. The platform is built fantastically and has exceeded all expectations. As with most of my guns, I disassemble everything prior to shooting and the whole rifle was flawless. The first outing at the range reflected as well. 1k rnds later without a hiccup and i still smile every time i see her. She’s a workhorse comprised of the finest and built but the finest. I will 100% continue to work with Charlie Customs.
