Exactly as expected. Everything arrived in the plastic and looked about right for .gov contract mags. Haven't run them yet, but loading ten to 28 with duty ammo was smooth and the followers/feed lips all looked good and things moved freely.

I’m a bit picky when it comes to buying anything for a colt AR rifle. ON 9/11 of this year Colt announced that they are seizing sales of the AR to the general public and will only available to Military or Law Enforced Sales. Practically every vender over night ran out of current stock. I have always used a colt mag in a colt gun and I had just recently bought a new AR15a4 to use for service rifle competition. Charlie’s had 20 and 30!round Colt Magazines in stock and I was a first time buyer. I have to say I’ll most certainly order again. The magazines are simple, durable and the only way to say reliable. Price, quality, ease of order, speed of delivery Charlie’s gets an A+ In getting them to my front door. Thanks a bunch guys. I’ll be back.

Colt 11.5" SOCOM stripped barrel, new FBI over-run
Barrel was in factory Colt condition and mounted perfectly into an Aero M4E1 stripped upper. Lock up into the barrel extension is beautifully smooth.
If you're here you probably already know, but in case you don't, this is a heavy profile barrel, like a Government profile but uniform throughout the entire length.
A PRI .750" gas block fit perfectly, and so any standard .750" gas block should also work.
All in all a great barrel and one that I'd pick up again for a pistol build, if they stayed in stock by the time I started the next one...

Colt M4 Pistol Lower Receiver with SB Tactical Brace
I just recently stumbled across Charlies Custom Clones, and what a pleasant surprise, I bought the most incredible "COLT AR-15 Pistol Lower" and Love it. I didn't know there was a place online to buy one. It is perfect, it has a SB Tactical 3 for a brace, which has a staked pistol buffer tube from the COLT manufacturing Plant that is approximately 1" shorter than your standard Carbine buffer tube, which allows for a longer barrel than the standard Carbine tube would allow under Law, which is awesome. I have always prefered COLT over other Brand's, I bought my first COLT before I new what an AR-15 was. These Guy's are great for service, dependability, and offering some of the best value in the "Specialized Gun Market for the Money that I know of on the Net." You can't go wrong at Charlies.
