This is my 3rd SSA trigger I’ve installed. They are easy if you take your time and watch the Bill Geissele installation video on YouTube . This trigger is wonderful over the standard GI trigger. I highly recommend it !!

I'm very happy with this purchase, both because the KAC BUIS is a great design and works really well, and because I got a great price from Charlie's. It was described as "used, medium grade" but other than a bit of dust and grease, it looks and works as good as new.
The design is great; it's small and lays really low when folded. It takes up the last slot and a half at the back of the receiver, which leaves enough room to fit an ACOG as far back as you need it for proper eye relief. It doesn't get in the way of a standard charging handle when folded down. It folds up and down with a positive click, and doesn't wobble when up.
The adjustment clicks are positive and solid and easy to use. The markings and function are pretty much the same as a standard A2 style rear sight.
It did not come with the zeroing instruction card, but I found copies online.
I zeroed it at 25 meters (27 yards) and confirmed at longer distances. The elevation markings worked out exactly right (hitting 8", 12", 18" and 24" gongs, not bullseye targets) at 200, 300, 400, and 500-ish yards with my 16" barrel and 55 gr bullets. I'm not sure if this thing is calibrated for a 14.5" barrel M4, but if there's a difference, I can't tell.
I understand the sight aperture is a bit bigger than the long-range A2 aperture, but it is accurate enough on my Colt 6920 that I can hit my 24" gong targets at over 500 yards repeatedly (OK, about 4 or 5 times out of 10). I can hit my 12" gong at 300 yards about 7 or 8 times out of 10. Basically, I can maintain about 3 or 4 MOA accuracy out to 500 yards or so, which is almost as good as I can do with a magnified optic on that gun.

Not much to say except that it works and has a clear 2moa dot and nice design. Good price when on sale. Saw a few torture videos on YouTube that it survived.

I have purchased 3 of these from Charlie's Custom clones. One that I purchased a month ago slipped on a Colt receiver extension without any issues. I ordered two more for more builds, but both would not fit over LMT, Colt, or the receiver extension that came with my SB Tactical SBA4 brace. I contacted Charlie's and they offered to exchange them. However, I read a review on here that said he had to do some work to get them to fit.

I took a file and passed it over the indexing nub until most of the finish rubbed off, and then it fit just fine. I applied some bluing solution and it was good to go.

As expected it works and looks great, nice compliment to the rifle, would recommend hands down, great choice and fast shipping!!

Wanted a vertical grip that could be removed without the use of a tool. The dual locking bar locks up tight with no chance of accidental activation. Not a fan of stubby grips as they are too short to use in a supported firing position. The grip could use more texturing, however some rubber bands around the handle provide phenomenal grip. Well worth the price.
