Ordered the mk12 premium upper and paired it with a colt m16a1 lower. Threw on a Leupold 2-12 and made sub moa groups. Wait time from when I placed the order until is was delivered was Right at 5 weeks and that’s not a big deal to me. Overall very happy and will be ordering from Charlie’s again.

A whole lot of reviews and stuff for just a two item purchase. You guys are on the pretty high side of the price spectrum too. Otherwise I had a good experience. Shipping was done well and relatively quickly. All that to say, for a common item I could play 30%-40% less at another retailer, I’d probably go there if I had the choice. All in all, thanks for getting me what I need.

Steven, thanks for shopping with us and thanks for sharing. I know we can seem expensive, but the two parts you purchased, our price for one was significantly less than the manufacturer, and the other just a little less than the manufacturer and Primary Arms, so in both cases, we were the low price leader. I point this out not to argue, but to clarify. We generally are priced right for products that are available at other shops, and usually less than the manufacturer.
We have products that we have custom assembled, and those where we have a special purchase allocation from manufacturers which can be expensive, but those are a matter of what is available and us getting the best, and others not have the product available.
I would never say we are going to be consistently less expensive, as our goal is not to be the price leader, but the selection leader. It just so happens, that the two items you purchased, we did have the lowest cost on the market, and maybe that is what made you give us a try. I hope you return.

As a person who deals with the public if my company advertised a specific price and it was incorrect on my part, I would still honor the price for the customer.

We have certain agreements in place with our manufacturers who dictate a minimum price we can list at, and in your case, the manufacturer asked us to change the price. We had missed a price increase. With inflation hitting all of us, it is hard to track when manufacturers change their prices, but we are bound by dealership agreements to maintain a certain minimum price. In the industry, it is called MAP, and it affects all dealers.
