thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear about this. I have looked into this for you and can confirm that this corset dress is make of spiral and flat steel bones. The spiral steel bones are very soft hence they have the qualities of flexibility and comfort. If there are any smells in the item, it may be due to the fact they they have been packed for some time and have not been aired out.
