As expected, the replacement Educator remote has been easily intergrated with the collars I already had. Though I’d only note that placing instructions on how to change the remote for two collars in with the device would have been convenient.

I purchased this collar because of its great reviews about controlling whimpering and whining. This collar has zero effect in that degree which is terribly disappointing. It only works for barking if the setting is turned on high, which in return shocks the dog so terribly that you’d think it was dying. Extremely poor product. I would never purchase again or recommend to anyone.

I can not say enough about the product and the customer service. I ordered a new item and wS a but overwhelmed by the instruction boom and two separate people at Educator Collars stayed on the phone with me and walked me through how to use the transistor. They also helped me pair the transmitter with my old collar. I saved money when they recommended I just buy a transmitter only when my old one wore out. They even threw in a pink collar for my female black GSD because I told the gentleman helping me people always think she is a boy:) Love these guys!

I really don't like the controller attachment. The single pivot point is begging to snap off, it sticks out to far. I have spoke with another handler that has had it happen. it needs a metal flat clip like the Dogtra controllers have. Being a k9 officer I need something that is going to hold up to real world use. As far as using the collar I am liking it so far, still getting used to it.

I adopted an approximately 2yo GSD this summer and began obedience classes with him immediately. He barked and lunged at the other dogs in the class, and at other dogs while we were on walks. He was barking inappropriately everywhere except at home so my dog trainer suggested the BP-504 barkless collar. He's a former K-9 officer and does all manner of dog training now. His input is invaluable for me. This collar has curbed the inappropriate barking in just one class and one activation. I have it set on L1 since he responded excessively to L2 the first time. I have it set to Medium sensitivity and I now have his full attention when he's in a social setting as he still is a little overwhelmed by other dogs and strangers. This is whether or not he barks and the collar activates. He knows it is around his neck and he respects it. This collar is the best tool and is helping me to socialize my dog since he's somewhat behind in that department for a 2yo.
The customer service has been fine so far as I've not had any issues.

I ordered the Boss Collar for my Working Line GSD. My dog is about 13 months old, and I needed something to help me to enforce recalls and obedience at a distance. The help I received from Byron at Educator Collars has been great. He helped me to also get the soft pad wing tips, which make me feel a lot better about having consistent contact through my GSD's fur.
My setup includes The Boss Collar, Bungee Quick Release, and Soft pads. I really like the add on for the bungee quick release as it's so easy to get on and off. It's well worth it at 15 dollars imo.
The Boss is pretty heavy duty, my working level is near 4-7; and I only increase it due to distractions. Highest I have had to go so far is near 35 to get a recall under heavy distraction (was following a pack of dogs chasing another dog toward the street).
Thanks Byron and Educator Collars team! I feel way more comfortable letting my dog walk off leash knowing I have the extra security when I need it, and not having to haul a 30 ft leash anymore is so great.

Very pleased with my ecollar purchase. The boss is probably more collar than I need for my dog, but how could you not like the 1 mile range. We live in the country near a Columbia Whitetail habitat, so I'm guessing it was a good choice. Service and attention to all my questions has been exemplary. I have a dog who is hard to fit due to extremely long and dense coat and I was given the opportunity to try both the regular long thick coat points and the extended wings version and return the one that did not work as well. The wings were the answer to getting a good contact. The supplied free videos were most helpful in getting started correctly conditioning the dog to the collar. Thanks ecollar technologies for making them available...as well as the nice ebook with it's detail of everything contained in the vids. Shipping was fast and free on the collar and very reasonable and fast on accessories purchased later.

So far I'm somewhat satisfied with the pager. I had hoped there was a way to use the tone and vibration at the same time, i.e., select that option rather than trying to hold down both buttons. If I've missed something in the manual on how to do that, please let me know.

My dog had some skin issues with the regular points but the comfort points with wings have resolved the problem, with much more consistent contact so I can use the ecollar at a far lower level. I ha d also combined this with the bungee collar which is great.
