The educator collar is a wonderful tool, but not easy to use. You really need the hire a trainer to learn how to adequately use this device. This is despite the excellent video on YouTube that explains how to use each series. We were given great advice from our sales representative who suggested we get the 800 series since we have a very difficult sixty pound dog. The website is a little confusing, but the representatives are able to clearly explain the site. Delivery was even quicker than expected and the device came in a plastic carry-case that was well-made and will be excellent to store the collar for the many years I am sure we will have to use it.

I have a fearful, distractible, 7-8month old GSD pup. This collar has worked wonders for finding her regular working stim level and the boost level, the beep function quickly became my favorite because the beep is loud and it automatically stims the dog so there’s no need to press six different buttons. Amazingly after week one I stopped having to stim at all, because the beep is loud enough to break through Lucy’s distraction obsession and look to me for commands! This was never possible on the Sport Dog, I had her cranked up to the highest stim level to break through her distractions!
We’re both happy we switched to the mini educator! We also LOVE the light for night time potty breaks in our neck of the woods!

I have a 10 month feisty German Shepard. I had in-home dog training but nothing I did would calm her down (would take basically the entire session getting her settled). After my trainer informed me about the e-collar, I purchased that night! It arrived within a few days and I was able to start working with her that night. Her entire behavior changed for the better!! She is now a perfect member of our family!! I HIGHLY recommend this product!

Great tool for both my dogs. Best way to leave my dogs loose in the park and to sharpen up their commands.

My 55 pound 6 month old Aussie thought I was his playmate. Nothing worked to get him to stop biting me in play. Even though he was doing extremely well in all other areas of training. After only 3 days of using this E-collar for my new training method, my wonderful pup is doing well in ALL his training areas.

It is an amazing product. It is easy to use and easy to adjust each level. Has so many options between the boost, continuous and tone/beep. Easy to adjust each option. My dog has responded already to the lowest working level and I have only worked with her a few times I have used others with no such success. They we're very difficult to adjust. I would recommend this product to anyone.

The collar is a life saver! Being able to walk my dogs, in the woods, off leash without worrying they are going to chase wildlife is wonderful!

Well worth the price! It reaches a mile, easy to adjust to any level for my three smart but stubborn Cane Corso dogs. I've used The Boss for two years now, just ordered a second one. Originally recommended by my trainer! The website is easy to use, delivery is super fast, and customer service is outstanding! They even called me about an error I made in my order and helped me get the correct additional collars I wanted.

The Educator has 3 levels of “Pay attention “; a vibrator pager like the old belt pagers, a single jolt “stinger”, and a short duration stinger. The two stingers vary in power from 1 to 100, my dog can feel about a level eight; I don’t feel it until 12-14. My first level “Attention” is the vibrator. If he doesn’t react after 2-3 vibrates I use a low level single sting which usually suffices. If he goes berserk at something like garbage trucksorUPS (VERY rare) I’ll use the5 second stinger, which brings him to “Oop, I screwed up” very quickly. All in all a very useful device

I find the levels awkward to adjust with just one hand but other than that this is pretty easy to use.
