I've had my collars since the business started under the old name. They have helped me twice with great customer service and with the new batteries I just ordered the collars are back to working like new.

The shipping was great. It came faster than I expected! Directions were in the box on how to link the new controller to the existing collar. Everything worked out flawlessly!

Here's what I like :
1. Stimulation levels that I use, most of the time, are so low that I can barely feel it on my bare arm, so concerns about cruelty are completely misguided. In fact, the level I use for the usual commands is much less intense than a choke collar.

2. Since I provide the stimulation without raising my voice and without any action, there is no adverse stimulation to the dog that would make her afraid of me. That's probably the greatest advantage. I can provide negative reinforcement without her knowing that I am the source of the negative stimulus. Therefore she connects her negative behavior to the adverse stimulus, and not me.

3. Our dog was leash aggressive and using a technique called "Crittering" (used in hunting dog training) we have been able to get her warmed up to other dogs.

4. For behaviors like digging or barking, I can correct her without a verbal command.

This takes effort and consistency from the owner to succeed, but if you are willing to do that, you will get fantastic results.

The snap collar definitely makes my life easier!

A couple of things to be aware of, the more you mess with your e-collar, the more your dog pays attention to it being on. With the quick snap, you set it once and don't touch it again. It's high quality, and since I don't have a heavy puller, I use as a leash clip too (beware since you're relying on the bungee).

I also have the 300+, which has two stim receivers. There is not a lot of room to spare for tightening, but there's enough to make it work on my 76lbs GSD. Since I have two receivers on the collar, I don't need it right for contact, so it's a non-issue. It's typically recommended for collars with one receiver, but I am happy I have it. Well worth the money, and they built it smart, Educator planned ahead so you can replace parts like the bungee if they become damaged. You won't have to buy a new collar, just attach a new bungee, love the foresight.

Ergonomic for some hands. Nothing is perfect. but a great product
nonetheless. Einstein yep, when you figure everything out (function vs manual) you are Einstein.

I really like this collar, I can keep the stim much lower, and it is great for an active/working dog. I still have contact when it is moving around, tugging, etc.

I did have a problem with poor information from the rep, I asked if the set came with the case and the flex collar and he went to check and came back to say it did not (even though the pic showed that it did). I went ahead and purchased those items not shown and then received it and it had the items in there, so it was an unnecessary purchase.

I started my training with the k9-800 tactical two weeks ago, and my high energy stubborn chocolate lab is responding really really well to Pavlovian training method with the vibration and tone.

The belt clip works well. You can clip it to your belt loop or a backpack. It is always in reach

Arrived and was rugged as expected. Spring more than adequate to retain in place for strenuous work dropping the controller and picking back up. Better than lanyard to allow placing at convenient attachment points.

I found this collar to be very convenient when working with the same dog. Once you get the proper fit it goes on in a snap ever time Ha. I also enjoyed the color option because I do a lot work in the evenings with black dogs.

After researching many models, I opted to try out this one. It is a fantastic system. I've been using it on my 15 week old puppy who has an adventurous spirit. I live on a couple of acres and didn't want to spend the money installing an invisible fence, so went this route. Product is very high quality and the battery lasts for days. The collar unit is comically large at this point, but will fit him just fine as he should be a fairly large dog. I've only had to use the "sensation" button (ie: shock) a couple of times. I hide the remote in a pocket, or wear it on the included lanyard (I don't want him to know that I'm controlling the collar). I hit the vibration button, and that usually gets his attention enough so he will respond to my commands. Which, is great since he is like any other puppy and follows his nose without regard to surroundings. I went to the hardware store and bought boundary flags, put those up and walk him around the boundaries and correct him when he goes past them. I'm not sure if this system would work well if used on a dog who lived in a neighborhood setting and another dog or person walked by. Works well in my situation in keeping him out of deep woods or the creek. I don't have the collar on him 100% of the time. I only put it on when we go outside. Have had it 2 weeks and just having the collar on gives him self control to stay in boundaries. This is just a training "tool" and should not be used as the only means of training. Just my personal preference. I use it as an aid to his training (ie: spending time with him correcting him using verbal command). LOVE the light feature too. At night when I let him out, I can just hit the button and know exactly where he his. He is like a walking lighthouse.
